The Walking Dead Expanded Universe (SPOILERS)
Discussion
I had no idea this episode was the season finale. Jesus H Christ this show sucks so bad. It entirely hangs itself upon the final scenes to propel viewers into the next episode and then absolutely nothing happens until the last scene.
God this show is awful. I am done with it as far as making it a point to watch it. I will DVR it and if i get around to it then i get around it.

Wait, did they actually show the death of carols son the episode before the finale? Or was the season finale episode another one of those fast forward into the future episodes where we wont find out what actually happened to him until next season? Because i saw the last episode and i dont recall her sons demise.

His head was on a pike, so yeah, he dead.We saw maybe the beginning of an acceptance of Negan into the group by way of his virtuous actions, something we all knew was going to happen anyway.
Apart from some crap CGI and zombies it was a non event, even if some of the "set" was actually visible during the river crossing, also with some rubbish green screen stuff (Carol in the initial scene with Zeke).
Along with a total non scene of Alpha getting whipped in unusually warm and tropical scene of a lush forest as opposed to a winter storm in the current timeline (can anyone explain?) and with a nonsensical radio transmission.
All in all a badly written, badly scripted and pointless exercise.

Negan probably will be accepted but I struggle to see how will they ever forgive him for the deaths of Glenn and Abraham.Apart from some crap CGI and zombies it was a non event, even if some of the "set" was actually visible during the river crossing, also with some rubbish green screen stuff (Carol in the initial scene with Zeke).

Surely Eugene is the only person left who knew Glenn and Abraham, and he's already shown his colours to Negan.Stopped watching this weeks ago, glad it's over, won't bother next season, assuming the whole shebang manages to limp that far without being put out of its misery in the off-season.
Got round to seeing the finale last night and agree with all comments, it was a bit of a let down really, especially after the shock of the previous episode. They should have explained what happened at Kingdom, why were so many buildings burnt for example. Then the apparent time jump to the Whisperers, clearly after the snow storm, but how long after? I think the radio transmission could be interesting. But again, absolutely no further movement on the helicopters, surely at some point they need to explain this, who's using the helo's and where are they?
Yes, it was a disappointment, but I'm quite invested in TWD and I still very much enjoy the character development, even the apparent redemption of Negan.
