Agree with the above, I've enjoyed this season so far and liked last nights episode. Negan not taking any st from Brandon and killing him for killing the mother and kid. He does want to be a good guy now and I think he's seen how good people can work together in the communities. I reckon he'll get in with the whisperers, only to betray them at the end.
I was taking the piss with spoilers on the 3 year old series, however, did you really have to go into so much detail about last nights show? But noted, I'll delay any further comments on episodes by a few days to give people chance to catch-up, I normally avoid the thread until after I've seen it (and even then I'm sometimes the first to post, post-episode .
I just got up to date on TWD last night, and had a few enjoyable evenings doing so!
I initially noticed that my Sky box had started series linking S10 so once 3 or 4 had come out, I sat down for a watch. Got about 20mins into EP1 and was scrabbling to remember what had happened. I vaguely recalled the references to the skin mask found on the beach but some other stuff was confusing me... then when Michionne said "THEY HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON" it was a bit of a WTF moment and I realised that I'd not completed S9 yet
After reading an episode guide and scrolling back through the Sky on-demand library I realised that I'd only watched up until Rick was choppered off, and I hadn't actually continued with S9 after that!
I quite enjoyed the rest of S9, had a decent pace to it and the heads-on-spikes bit had echo's of the Negan baseball bat scene as it slowly revealed the characters that had gone bonk. Seeing Alpha strolling through the Kingdom was quite chilling.
I feel S10 hasn't started particularly well though, the Whispers are a great foe but I feel like we're getting to know a bit too much about them and their own little soap opera that's going on. Also on a technical note, their masks are really exposing some quite weak makeup/effects which TWD has been brilliant at since S1 - so I'd rather just have glimpses of them in the dark (cemetery scene in S9 was brilliant) to keep the mystery/fear up.
To echo other posts, TWD really needs to make a big step sometime soon. It feels like we've been at Alexandria/Hilltop for far too long now - the big 'flash forward' in time was a good opportunity to fast forward their civilisation (which they did) but I'd like to see it all peeled back a bit now - and have a small number of characters go on the run so we can start to feel a bit more 'attached' to them again.

Already?! It doesn't feel like much has actually happened this season yet?
I'm liking Negan and wondering where it's going but I need a bit more action. Come on TWD...
I gave up watching them weekly when you had the whole crew attacking negens compound and entered the mid-series break, then binged watched 1 1/2 seasons and made the programme much more watchable/free flowingI'm liking Negan and wondering where it's going but I need a bit more action. Come on TWD...
Ive tried this season so far doing the weeklys but think ill revert to binge watch status

blinking eck im going through that lull in quality (first half season 7) dunno if it improves.
Apparently they lost 40% viewers after some of the cast were 'retired' at the start of S7.
They need to make an ep showing what merry old england is up to. My guess would be business as usual after
they put muzzles on the few zombies they rounded up.

How the UK would cope with a Zombie Apocalypse is an interesting one I think, not as many guns available to deal with the initial threat etc, I think the percentage of people lost initially would be very high.Apparently they lost 40% viewers after some of the cast were 'retired' at the start of S7.

I've often thought (being the saddo that I am) what I would do in such an event, in the location I'm in. Even thought about writing a book, but I haven't got the required commitment.
I actually started a theoretical Zombie Apocalypse thread on here a long long time ago.
