It wasn't the greatest, although the last few minutes could lead to something interesting for the next season.
It is amazing how quiet this thread is now, compared to when TWD first started and each episode would generate a ton a posts. Hell, we haven't even bothered to create a new thread for season 10!

This season hasn't been too bad. When Negan first appeared that was a highlight in a series I've otherwise long felt I'd like someone to stab me in the brain to release me from watching! I'll still watch the films though!

I quite enjoyed that. Watching Beta completely lose his st was enjoyable, Alpha as a severed head was fun.

I liked Neegan and Darryl taking out the whisperers and the bit in the city with the chained up walkers in those weird tableaux was a good little twist.

They made a big thing of casting "the new character" she's been taken from the comic. Looks just like the comic version. wink

Negan is the best character for sure, he steals the show, and needs to feature more often biggrin

Yeah, when he was doing the Im top dog again thing with Darryl on his knees, even tho they telegraphed what he was going to do - it was nice to see the Negan swagger in full force....

Well, other than getting to know the quirky new character, not much else happened.

Now who knows how long until the next episode.

Have no idea and I think it's meant to be the last one.

I like the new quirky character and would like her to stick around. She made me laugh.

Does anyone else find the sound is absolutely fking terrible for this show? I have to have the volume at about 20% higher than normal, and still easily miss bits of dialogue. And then get deafened when the adverts come on.

Yes, it is really irritating! Can barely hear them speak but can hear zombies twice as loud and, as you say, adverts come on and it's deafening!

Rewatched S1E1 the other day. It's a completely different thing to what we have now. Everything about it was good.

Yeah it’s ace.

You forget how good it all was. The actual intensity of it all.

So disappointed that Rick has let the show.
Feel a bit short changed!

Rick and Daryl are THE characters that make the show for me.

Just got caught up. Not a bad series on the whole, glad they're not dragging alpha out for six series...

Would like the gang to settle in a city for a while. Was getting old Atlanta vibes from that last episode!

So I’m at Season 3 Episode 12 ‘clear’

There’s a scene with Morgan and Rick and Morgan is saying about ‘people wearing dead men’s faces’

I’d never noticed it before but it was essentially talking about the whisperers years before we saw them. Nice.

Just finished watching the 2nd half of this season at the weekend. Have to say I think it's got a bit better. Not as good as the early days, but enough for me to want to keep watching as I've struggled recently. A few more twists and the unexpected has helped. The new character Princess could be good fun.

Although saying that the last episode was a bit of a letdown. Why didn't the whisperers check the windmill? Why was Aaron and the other guy about 20 feet away when following the massive herd, could they not have held back a bit? And the whisperers appearing out of thin air all around them was predictable. As was the plan to hide in the hospital backfiring.

Fingers crossed the final episode gets things back on track again.
