The web...it works...SOmehow oN my yt feed a video popped up, explaining CM's power level in the comics against Thors. I ignored it for a while but then thought fk it, some nerd has put effort in I'll watch (never read a CM comic, I used to read THor all the time many moons ago, along with a few others).
CM power's are pretty feeble compared to Thor in every way, but the MCU characters are not the comic characters exactly...plus, the comic ones change over many decades. But CM has been around for a long time and she's not top tier.

So, tickets on sale and final trailer apparently out.

I'm not sure why anyone would watch yet another trailer at this point, we're all going anyway so why potentially spoil anything else (no matter how small)? I'm in full avoidance mode through till release now.

Ticket sales have been incredible in 4 hours, my smallish quiet town local Odeon has sold out a midnight 2D screening and filling up others already. Odeon website crashed for much of that time as well.

I've gone with a double bill, Infinity War at 9pm then End Game bang on midnight. Interestingly they've brought midnight screenings forward to 23.35 so that the film itself starts at midnight, useful when the film is just over 3 hours long!

We've booked our tickets for opening night! Can't wait...

Our local is packed so we ended up with cheap seats. Still very excited to be seeing it asap!

I tried all morning to get on the Cineworld site, eventually got through in the afternoon and the midnight showing was sold out, earliest I could get was 11:40 IMAX on the Thursday.

Guess I’ll be having a total social media blackout from when I wake up until I walk into the cinema then!

They might add more screens, my Odeon hasn't released their biggest screen yet but have been filling the others. I doubt they'll lass the chance to sell more tickets if they have screens sat there empty otherwise.

3 hours and 2 minutes according to imbd.

It's way, way too long imo.

I usually go to latest showing possible of popular films to avoid the idiots, but we'd be getting out at nearly 4am once you factor in adverts/trailers and end credit scenes!

Cinemas have been given the ok to start screenings at 23.35, which for most means the actual film will be underway at the earliest allowable time of 00.01. The 182 minutes includes the entire credits, so you should be getting out just after 3am if it's a 23.35 screening.

I've got to be up at 5.50 the work next day, ouch!

I’m booked in for Sunday 28th.

The whole website and app has been down all day so one of guys went down and bought the tickets at the cinema.

Seeing it in IMAX 3D - which isn’t my preference at all but that was the popular choice.

Haven’t watched an advert. Don’t want to.

This is going to bust Avatars record isn’t it?

Unlikely, I think, as that's a huge jump from what Infinity War managed. Avatar opened early December and had a loooooong, free run over winter where momentum just kept growing and growing. China has grown massively recently but not enough to add another $800m to the Infinity War total in my opinion.

As insanely popular as Endgame will be, a huge amount of that will be concentrated around opening weekend, and relatively speaking it will get squeezed out of a large number of screens within a few weeks as the cinema schedule is absolutely bonkers this year (Aladdin is out 4 weeks later and that's tracking for big numbers, between those Pokemon is out too).

Yeah, it will be busy opening weekend as the spoiler risk is just way too high.

I wouldn't say 'bust', but...Marvel is at 1 billion, which is mildly surprising. I can see Endgame taking an easy 2nd place. Maybe go up to 2.5 billion?

Avatar Fox $2,788.0 $760.5 27.3% $2,027.5 72.7% 2009^
Titanic Par. $2,187.5 $659.4 30.1% $1,528.1 69.9% 1997^
Star Wars: The Force Awakens BV $2,068.2 $936.7 45.3% $1,131.6 54.7% 2015
Avengers: Infinity War BV $2,048.4 $678.8 33.1% $1,369.5 66.9% 2018

Booked my ticket, local independent cinema, no midnight showing as their licence doesn't go past 3am.

So 11am on thursday it is smile. excited about it as a lot has been kept quiet and the trailers haven't given st away like most do.

However i may avoid any form of liquid before the event and a small coke to sip through the film but not starting till after first hour lol.

I got confused thinking opening night was Thursday with first showings being 00.01 Friday morning. But it's 00.01 Thursday.

Didn't realise the movie was 3 hours so we changed ours as it would be a disaster trying to get through Thursday on 3 hours sleep.

We've re-booked for 8PM on Thursday night. Might have to buy a Tena!

11:40am showing for me. Zero fluids from 8am it is then! hehe

Go in dehydrated, take on minimal water. This is serious stuff, especially when you're over 40 rofl
