I caught this on Saturday and really enjoyed it too.

On the technical side, I couldn't get the Disney+ app for my 4k TV (the only smart TV I have), so had to install it on the PS4, as it's a base PS4 (not pro) I guess that means that I can't watch any of the UHD/HDR content on Disney+ (or rather it would be pointless) is that correct?

Also wondering why I couldn't find Disney+ when searching for the extra apps on my smart TV (it's a panasonic 49" 4k, if that helps).
I've got on my 4k TV so it is possible, I got a subscription just before lockdown 1
It's really that the episode is only 43 minutes long.
Was Disney+ already identified as a source or app on your TV or did you have to go somewhere and download it?
I think from what I can remember I just subscribed on the Disney + website and went from there.
The app was available on my TV.
Now TV was only available on my phone but it is now on my TV.
Maybe just update your TV's settings.

Panasonic TVs don't support the Disney+ app so you won't be able to watch it via that, also you will need a PS4 Pro to watch it in 4k via that as well.

The only option I think would be to get a Chromecast 2020 which would give you access to all apps and streaming services in one place in 4k and is very highly rated or stick to how you currently watch it in HD.

Great start to this season.

Watching it did make me wonder, not for the first time, where's 'Halb'?

Thanks for that, that's what I was thinking may be the case with the TV and PS4 side of things, to be fair it's fine in HD as it is, I'm still a happy chap, that I can see it and all the other content, thanks for the response.

He's been taking a break from PH since lockdown, I message him occasionally, he's OK but has just decided not to post.

I hope the assassin droid returns for series two, that was the star of series one!
How would that be possible?

If it is available through a webpage or app on a PC, perhaps plugging a laptop into the TV would do it.

Were the binos the sandpeople using that the gave to Mando the same ones they stole from Luke Skywalker when they smacked him on the head in A NEW HOPE...................???? am i the only one to see that?

great episode - season 1 had many ups and very few downs, i'm hoping a little more time and direction for season 2 will mean every episode will be as good as this one.

If only SOLO had been canned and they put the money into this as a movie with its own spin off series - who WOULDNT want to see Mandalorians fight Jedi!!!!!!!!!!!

Boba and Jango are not Mandalorians.

Looks like there will be Jedi though - "Rosario Dawson wields two lightsabers in an awesome realistic design of her as fan-favorite Star Wars character Ahsoka Tano for her rumored appearance in The Mandalorian season two"

This is also mentioned in this months SFX.

OK, but wearing Mandalorian armour would be very daft and dangerous, having every Mandalorian prepared to kill you for it.

Fantastic episode again.

From the model x wings to the canyon lifted straight from Battlefront to the obligatory use of flame thrower against the Aliens
