So OH wanted to go away, I said fine as long as she organised it all...

So on way to airport and she mentions valet parking arranged, I think to myself of daily mail articles of cars left in random fields/used as a daily by the company. I express these views, she gets a bit upset at my bluntness frown

No she says, they have really good reviews. I take quick scan and look ok.

So get to Hilton car park and appears sky park are a middle men, as car is given to ace parking. Who are a bunch of random minimum wage types in high vis vests to look professional.

Get off flight and Google this Ace parking lot, 1.6 stars is their review score banghead God knows why she didn't just book parking at the airport.

On the plus side it's 'only' an Audi diesal, what's the worst that could happen tumbleweed

I parked at Gatwick the other week, short stay next to the South Terminal, dead easy to get to the terminal and only a short train journey to north terminal if needed (for Premier Inn).

Don’t know why people go for the valet parking TBH. Rather keep the keys myself, that way I know the car is going to be where I left it, and not be worried that it might be parked in a playing field Car Park somewhere for three days.

Someone will have sex in your car or they will smash it up and then deny all knowledge. HTH.

It's a diesel Audi - The worst that can happen is that you have to drive it home after the holiday

I now use the valet parking in the short stay car park at LGW. Seems to cost about the same as the long stay & a lot more convienent. can't believe the off site lot can be much cheaper.
