On a side note from the appearances so far I do wonder if they'll manage to work the whole main cast of 12 Monkeys in by the end. A big chunk of Picard is just sneaky references and Easter eggs for something that isn't Star Trek.

It does bear a striking resemblance to the Red Forest in a certain other show but making this thing temporal would maybe be a reference too far. It's going to be some sort of shape-shifting hybrid thingy surely? Bodysnatchers style.
Another excellent episode, great to see the resolution to a story from TNG that everyone felt was cut short. Loving the guest appearances from 12 Monkeys, I'm wondering if we'll get one final one from a female character at some point.....
In regards to Jack I feel the Changeling route is a bit obvious, although the way he took out those 4 from the Intrepid certainly suggests he's not completely human.
