I assumed the crew were Breen.
Hmm, that would explain why their speech wasn't translated and they do have a big link with the Dominion War .... Also, the Breen had pretty powerful warships too. Would that mean that the Big Bad is also linked with the Dominion War too ... ? Shrike Crew
So, not Breen unless they've had a completely poinless redesign a la The Klingons

there was also a theory that the theft of Picard's body is to resurrect one of Star Fleets greatest foes - and one that Shaw and Sisko hate...
That crossed my mind as well, no doubt Picard has some Borg tech floating around in his body. Although given the cube in series 1 full of borg, there must be easier ways to get hold of the tech. Unless they want his body in some way for frontier day, as there are numerous references to that and how Picard was meant to give a speech there.

- There has to be more to Jack's dreams than that syndrome (can't spell it!). That was the quickest resolution ever and a miss direct I feel. No idea how Picards body plays into that though. I was thinking, Jack is the first offspring of ex borg, I wonder if that has something to do with it.......

I see Terry Matalas has said on Twitter that we find out about her crew next episode. He's said they're Changlings "but".......
That wouldn’t surprise me. There was a line of dialogue about them being “ill formed” or something similar that made me think they were shape shifters…geeks said:

I wonder if it is some sort of plot for a changeling PicardDodgyGeezer said:

Are you thinking of Stranger Things maybe? Because I thought it resembled visions of the upside down.
I've not watched Stranger Things (1st episode didn't grab me and there is soooo much choice of crap to watch) so couldn't sayHalf the new stuff this season seems to be inspired by or Easter eggs for 12 Monkeys...

I am sure that I've seen a similar effect to Jack's visions in another SciFi film/series - but can't remember what it is for the life of me (and as soon as I typed that Venom sprang to mind - though I'm not sure it is that)
Event Horizon?DodgyGeezer said:
that's very possible - whilst I don't generally 'do' horror (I'm a total wuss) I did watch this and it's possible that some of that imagery stuck with me somehow
You don't do horror but sat through Event Horizon? You're braver than you think! That's a truly disturbing (but excellent) film. Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
