A bit like firing at stuff and missing. A 1990's smart missile could do better.
The wonderful high tech torpedoes that travel at a nice steady speed in a nice straight line and if they miss they miss. Even in the 60s (or the 40s) stuff worked better than that. Best to ignore that stuff, if you get too hung up on details none of it works.
Most people are quite good at using spoiler tabs, nice to visit the thread and have the choice of opening them or not
I thought this episode filled in a lot of the missing pieces, it’s certainly building well, nice to see Tuvac, as others have said I fully expect the older non connected ships to save the day and prove Geordie was right

So any time anyone posts anything that discusses episodes of the show that this thread is about they have to use spoiler tags?I thought this episode filled in a lot of the missing pieces, it’s certainly building well, nice to see Tuvac, as others have said I fully expect the older non connected ships to save the day and prove Geordie was right
How convenient….
Alternatively if you’re not up to date steer clear until you are.

Yes, I agree, very convenient for the small effort it takes to put a couple of tags into a line of text, from posts you can see some people are able to access the episodes before others, however you carry on as you are and I’ll do the same, the seems to have been lost on you in the original post, it was lighthearted, you seem to have taken it as an instruction, it wasn’t.How convenient….

We should probably leave it now before one of pistonheads self appointed Oscar Wilde style rapier wits makes the hilarious and equally predictable “sexual tension” remarks that remains as unfunny today as it always has in the past.
I'd be in favour of dropping the spoiler tags TBH. Seems bizarre that we have a thread dedicated to discussing a programme, but that any discussion of a recently aired programme must be in spoiler tags. I can understand if it hasn't aired in the UK yet, but otherwise surely it's Ok to freely discuss?
Maybe stick 'Spoiler alert' or something in the title to avoid people who haven't watched it but want to read a discussion on it
Great episode by the way.

Thought it was decent enough but not not one of the stronger eps this season. possibly as a result of having to be another 'bottle episode' due to lack of budget. Nice to see some answers about Vadic and her crew, though.
From the reviews coming from people who have seen the whole season in advance , it ramps up for the last 3 episodes.

Another very strong epsidode, thoughts:
Tuvok - This was a great little reveal, proper chilling after they lulled us into a false sense of security with the Voyager theme an then his sly little smile when caught out. Great acting Tim Russ has said he's in two episodes so I expect either the real Tuvok or the Chovok to be back
The Vadic origin story - Very dark. Asks so many questions, we know Odo was experienced on but that was half explained away as they didn't know he was a life form. For the Federation to have been doing this during the war is shocking. In the timeline this was also before war was officially declared so kind of makes it even worse. Nice little touch with Picard thinking the Federation had provide the cure as well, history written by the victors and all that.
Jack - I am dying to know whats going on here, we also had a little tidbit from Data about the neuromodic syndrome diagnoses being in question now which is very interesting. I'm not a fan of retconning Picard himself at this stage but maybe something tied to All Good Things and the storyline there would be interesting.,
I've heard Ep8 is amazing as is the end to the series, I'm not sure I'm ready to say goodbye to this series and I can see myself reqatching the whole thing again straight away. It's been pretty flawless so far.
