Which Clarkson has taken the piss out of numerous times due to the amount of agonising he did over the script.

I think the sausages joke was ofcourse scripted, unless you're assuming Flintoff doesn't know Germany do sausages better than we do.
Was with you until the food but. Germany, worst food going IME, bland, nasty.

I think even c70r would agree that not every word is scripted.
What, even though he has repeatedly and vociferously told us that it is 100% scripted, to the tiniest detail?
You'll surely have no issue pointing out where I said it was "100% scripted".

Unless you're making stuff up because, for some odd reason, you're as crestfallen as when you discovered that the tooth fairy wasn't real. laugh

You're aware that all if this is meticulously, painstakingly scripted, right?
In the same post you also said:
It worked better for CH&M because they'd known each other for years...but it was still 100% scripted.
a short while later you said:
Top Gear, both new and old is incredibly tightly scripted.
The bold type was added by me, but the bullst is all yours.
Hoisted by my own petard, it seems.

Hyperbole always comes back to bite us on the backside.

For the avoidance of doubt, I don't believe it's 100% scripted word-for-word. I was being hyperbolic. The number is probably closer to 98%.
Please let that be the end of all the scripted talk. Pleeeeeeeeeeeease

Some people are smart enough to know that without being told.

Some others are not, and will argue about it on the internet.

Just to round it off, and to reassure the Top Gear Police that I don't have a vendetta against the current iteration, here's a classic that I'm sure not many were aware of.

Sneaky.

I'm starting to doubt that bit when Clarkson set a man on fire with a flamethrower now.

Moss piece aside, I’m struggling to fully engage with this season whereas last season I enjoyed.

The Anglesey race between FF & HFF seemed poorly conceived. Would have been much better if the stigs welsh cousin emerged from a field of sheep for a proper lap time battle

I genuinely had tears rolling down my cheeks with laughter at that one. Unintentionally brilliant.

That was funny. Freddie's look of pure concentration as he was firing balls at Harris was classic. The electrified steering wheel item was also brilliant.

Definitely have to disagree with you there. Knock most of what's over here into a cocked hat (at this point I'll say that I'm not having Indian/Thai/Chinese/etc as being English cuisine)

Except some of it is English cuisine, so you will have to.

As to which is better German or English, well like anything, it depends.

I think they'd expected it to be funny, but not quite so genuinely hilarious.

I'm not so sure, he loves an argument, that one....!

I missed TG this week and it doesn't appear to be on I Player as of last night. Does anyone know if its repeated on BBC2, or perhaps I have missed that as well.
IIRC it's repeated Tuesday evening, maybe 7? With the move to BBC1 this could have changed mind.
Was on Iplayer last night as I watched it there. !!
