If we can stop 'our' Chris from over-laughing that'd be good but genuinely thrilled to see the Programme and Team in top health!
I think it's how he is, if you listen to the collecting cars podcasts he's a right gigglebox. Not always a loud guffaw into the microphone but frequently is.

It's no big issue really, is it?

Flicking through the channels this evening, came across the ‘Best of TG’.

I haven’t watched much of Flintoff etc as don’t find it particularly entertaining but thought the best bits might be worth a watch.
Turns out I was wrong. There’s zero camaraderie between the 3, seems totally forced, Flintoffs voice overs are completely lifeless and Harris might be a good driver but what a bore, he almost put me to sleep. Also the format hasn’t changed at all since the Clarkson days meaning they are never going to recreate the TG glory years.

The Grand Tour all day long for me.

You won't be watching anything new past the next couple of specials then.

From what I saw you haven’t been watching anything new from Top Gear for the last 5 years either, so what’s your point?

Not exactly original though. Scrappy Races Season 2 (2006). The Chaos Crew. With the help of a Range Rover chassis and not one but two Rover V8s.

If you're going to use every programme for comparison you're never going to find anything totally original.

Scrapheap challenge had some absolutely amazing episodes and teams.

I'm not sure that 'off road ice cream van' is exactly a one of kind idea that TG has somehow plagiarised though. I'd imagine that it's a completely different approach.

I feel exactly the opposite. New tg was a breath of fresh air, whilst the grand tour stumbled on like a drunk elderly uncle at a family wedding, still thinking his jokes are funny and he is cool....

Monkey Tennis.
That would just be a slightly different variation of this.

Coincidence or not? Edd China's latest video (albeit a short clip) happens to be an ice cream van...

Just had this through, looks like filming for the 'studio' parts start a week on Tuesday, but they're doing a drive in section for anyone that wants to come and watch the recording live. It'll be interesting to see how that works.
