Shackleton didn’t die on his expedition.
Fact check required. He died on a subsequent expedition
I did, which is why I deleted my post seconds later, but not quick enough biggrin

Has TG ever had a 'Vette (or any American sports car) on without bringing up the old 'Americans can build cars that go fast in straight lines but have they now built one that can go fast around corners?' line?

Also since when has a Corvette ever been a muscle car.
They've been going fast round corners since the 80s

I have a question. I know this one is in Iceland but they do the same in the UK. Why don't handsfree rules apply to a mic in hand?
Because you’re pressing a button to talk then waiting for a response rather than holding it constantly. As is my understanding

Not a great episode IMHO. Expedition? Spent most of it driving at 30 mph by the looks of it. No spec on the Ford 150, looked quite trick.

Corvette piece could have been interesting, but was just a load of snotty exhausts and sideways action. Short on info, even for TG.

4/10 weak episode.

I thought it was something to do with the definition of the hand-held device being worded in a way that would allow the emergency services to use radios.

I'd say the big step was the C5 Z06 when it comes to the Corvette.

What was the connector between the arch and the wheel on the F150?

I figured it was to inflate and deflate the tyre from inside the rim.

Tyre inflation/deflation. You get it on logging trucks too

Not a bad episode but not brilliant. Brought back happy memories of being taken to school in my gran’s Chevette

Some method of inflating the tyres on the move?

Did I imagine it or was the F150 Stig slimmer than the Range Rover Stig?

So the road that Harris was eulogising about as he smashed over it at 60mph looked no different to the surface he was complaining about earlier in the piece saying it was impossible to drive over!

strongman bit was a waste of time - enjoyed most of the rest. That F150 looked just incredible!! I'm with Freddie on the C8 - great VFM, they are comfortable and very nice inside but..... they don't do it for me. Muscle/pony car instead please
