Very week indeed.
It’s time for them to admit defeat and that even on a bad day, the CHM years presenting styles and writers just make this lot look like a bunch of 6th Form students who have been given a task of making a TV show.
Harris, apart from being able to drive is just awful when you put a camera in his face. His ability of being able to put on a huge fake laugh when any of his celebrity ‘friends’ do anything even slightly amusing is worthy of an BAFTA.
Flintoff, his acting and presenting style is more wooden than the wooden tops (one for children of the 50s). You can see his lips move when reading the autocue.
McGuiness, he is now real life character that you would see on Phonenix Nights.
BBC, you gave them a chance. But now get rid of them all and try another set of presenters.
True, most of that. It’s time for them to admit defeat and that even on a bad day, the CHM years presenting styles and writers just make this lot look like a bunch of 6th Form students who have been given a task of making a TV show.

Given the standard of Live TV generally, TG is at least a polished turd amongst an ocean of unvarnished ste programmes and adverts.
Last of the summer wine reborn for the middle aged.
To be honest, I thought the “bants” was largely missing on the expedition as Flintoff was away.
Now I know the old folk don’t want to see younger folk enjoying themselves (my neighbour and good friend is the same, a 70 year old characature of all the pistonheads tropes-hates the EU, Covid restrictions, new top gear and Lewis Hamilton!) but seeing as that is what top gear is all about it was plain to see.
Harris does his thing really well but he’s got zero personality.

I figured it was to inflate and deflate the tyre from inside the rim.

Tyre inflation/deflation. You get it on logging trucks too

Some method of inflating the tyres on the move?

Tyre pressure adjustment?
Thanks all - guess I should have worked that out for myself really!FF’s review of the Camaro just made me think of this guy… https://youtu.be/xgMgkl-gRxk
PM and CH have no chemistry.
I still watched though..

I still watch it on catch up occasionally when there's nothing else on but I do find they're all trying to hard. McGuiness especially. Far too goby for me.
It can be mildly amusing occasionally but rarely properly funny. None of the presenters have the comic ability for that. Which is fine if they weren't pretending otherwise.
Whilst the old guard were running out of steam Clarkson and May could certainly deliver a line when called for and Hammond was worth a laugh at rather than with for being a bit of a prat.

Missed put down opportunity for CH.
When they were talking to the 10th Strongest Man in the World, CH looked at PM and said that he was the 10th funniest man in the World.
No, the line needed to be ‘10th funniest man…. on his street’
Passed the time, but having spent many years being prevented from sleeping by front engined corvettes at Le Mans, as good as the new one is, it did leave me a little….. cold

In summary: bloke who can’t really drive then drives a fast car and thinks it’s brilliant. Not overly insightful!
He was a brave man last week to do the chilli challenge though. I’ve eaten a Carolina Reaper and it was the worst challenge ever! Can’t stomach pepper now.

What we really learnt from that episode is that without FF, then CH and PM don't gel well together.
I didn't learn that, I thought they were doing fine together. It's definitely better when there's three of them together but they didn't look like they weren't gelling to me.Genuine Barn Find said:

I was thinking '10th funniest man in Bolton' but close enough. No, the line needed to be ‘10th funniest man…. on his street’
Maybe the line was fluffed otherwise there was a really obvious joke missed there. What came out just wasn't funny - at least they're consistent!

I enjoyed it. They should have found a guest to make up the third space on the Iceland trip.
I agree, but it was a very tricky time so I guess it's not surprising that they didn't. Very strange.
