Just caught the second episode last night. I enjoyed the F35 section as that highlights the strengths of what the production team for Top gear are good at.

The Bedford rascal thing was the same old nonsense they have been doing for years and I found it really dull. I think if they do build special vehicles with challenges they would be better to do it seriously rather then have the silly stuff like Coffee machines, TV's etc. in them. The joke of silly features on their builds is very tired now. The whole race thing is pretty played out as well with them arriving at the finish believing they have won only to be revealed that they have not.

I guess if what they are doing is still popular then sticking to the formula will be the way they go but I do wish they would drop some of the things they keep repeating that were even very tired when CHM were doing them.

Harris was going on about a central driving seat being better for balance. But as soon as you out a passenger in, the balance is messed up,
Simple, don't out your passengers. A gentleman wouldn't anyway...
I'd always assumed the three seats were so that you could have one for the wife and one for the mistress.

That sounds like an awkward way to outdrag a Chiron lol

Not happy with the trailers showing the cars they pick for the challenge, I’m sure CHM didn’t do this as I was surprised when they rocked up in the actual show.

Agree, i have tried to avoid all trailers

Its like on Grand Designs when they show the finished house early in the show or on trailers.. it annoys me!

I suspect the issue was that it wasn’t originally the Pontiac’s axle!

Should have used some concrete with the re-inforcement bars

Me too...it’s properly funny this week. That laughter from Harris in his car when testing the brakes to not Paddy is priceless.

That’s easily the best drag race start ever.

I hate most American cars, but strangely love that. Sounds incredible too.
