Columbo...perennially...

I watch the HBO repeats on sky, but they're not old.

MInder when I catch it, so great, one can see why it lasted. Moments of Boon.

any of the old britcoms on the old channels. FT, OFITG, all classics, also Dad's Army and POrridge.

Looking forward to Space 1999 on one of the ancient channels soon

Someone recently uploaded every episode of Watching onto YouTube so I binge-watched the lot.

Brilliant comedy with some fantastic lines in it.
that's one of those great sitcoms that never got the recognition so is rarely on!

Sherlock's mum (IRL and on TV). smile
Looked at Cucumbersnack's Wiki ,what a bizarre lot of surnames in that family.
IIRC His family made their money from using slaves to grow and process sugar cane on Barbados.

Recently watched an episode of Tales of the Unexpected and the music still gets under my skin.
Get the boxed set on DVD (see appropriate recent thread), it'll get on your tits then instead.

I could do with contracting a semi-serious biological infection so I could take some time off work and dominate the sofa and watch some of these...

series 2 of Auf Wiedersehen Pet - still good, but manages to look even more dated than the first series - there's a scene in a supermarket which looks like it was filmed in Russia in the '60s rather than England in the mid '80s. The way they dealt with the death of Gary Holton was a bit weird too.

I watched Brass recently, a criminally underrated masterpiece of social class commentary. It’s also fecking hilarious.
Where did you find this? I remember it first time around and you're right it is very funny.

I recently watched "Crocodile Shoes" when one of the new channels showed it - wasn't bad, but it had dated a bit. I've caught a few episodes of "Friends" recently, too, though it's not really on at a convenient time and I'm not bothered enough to record it. I did recently go through "The Persuaders" and "The Protectors" mainly for the car content, but I can't say I was that impressed with the rest of it.

Is Auf Wiedersehen Pet on anywhere? Haven't seen that for a while.
One of the Freeview channels showed the whole lot, in sequence through all the series, last year some time.

Loved it when it was originally shown, but really struggled with it 30 years later.......and I gave up not long into the showing of the second series.

Can happily watch repeat after repeat of episodes of The Sweeney and The Professionals though..... as well as Porridge and Dads Army.

It's Commander Foster's car Peri, with Ford Zodiac underpinnings I believe, it still exists apparently, as does Ed Straker's gold car...

Wanda Ventham also appeared in an episode of The Sweeney, when she played one of the kidnappers of Jack Regan's daughter.

Also an early appearance of the luvly Liz Carling. Plus a few other tasty ladies as guest stars.

I recently rewatched Coupling and had forgotten just how funny that was.

A colleague put me on Green Wing last year, I'd managed to miss that when it was originally on. He suggested after we'd mentioned Black Books, another series I'd missed originally and found on Virgin's online service a few years back and ended up binge watching the whole lot.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was just fantastic:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0485842/

Sadly only one series of 24 episodes. Great Aaron Sorkin series. I also enjoyed Sports Night by him:

And obviously The West Wing...

She also played Cassandra's mum in Only Fools. She was really good in that.

Coupling is just brilliant as are all the cast (Jeff being the best).

Green Wing is just hilarious and absolutely crazy. Need to rewatch that.
