Old TV series you're watching
Discussion
I'm filling in blanks on Game of Thrones at the moment, I had series 1-4 and 6 on DVD so I've done series five, a couple of series six until it all looked a bit familiar, and now half-way through series seven. Not incredibly different to previous ones but I feel a need to complete the set.

Still going through The Professionals - CI5.
I was too young to watch and understand the first three series, maybe all of them, and I don't remember watching any of them!
For some reason I disliked Lewis Collins, and his character. I don't know why, maybe it was because I read something about him being a wife beater!?
Anyhoo, he is such a good actor and really funny in it! He out acts Shaw and Jackson and you can see him and Shaw had so much fun, it was a shame Shaw blocked repeats.
Also, the Capri that Shaw (Doyle) drives only comes into it in the fourth series. I would have thought the RS2000 would be the one everyone was after!

Brookside, my word it seems dated.
I can still hear the music in my headTo be fair we were already scrabbling towards the TV on our bums to turn it over. All four channels of entertainment! (That you channel 5 for saving us!)

Recently watched the whole of The Thick Of It for the first time.
Frighteningly how realistic it is even to this day given the current state of politics: political and administrative ineptitude best summed up by Malcolm Tucker "he's as useless as a marzipan dildo."
I haven’t seen any of veep but really enjoy Armando Ianucci’s output. The thick of it, in the loop and (especially) the death of Stalin are superb. I stumbled on auf weidersien pet earlier this evening on itv 4 , series 1 episode 1 .
I remember watching it first time round as I’m old and I think it’s just as good , although I am from the north east and I’ve spent my life in the building trade , I’ve set record so I’m in for the series !
I’m guessing it’ll not be everyone’s cup of tea on here , it’s a bit northern and blue collar .
