After Life - Netflix
Discussion
I just watched S3, it was ok overall, but definitely not his best work.
Definitely shoe horned in some characters for no reason (Ratty and the nonce etc) and used cliches to try and get the tears rolling, the childrens hospice etc.
Diane Morgan was looking great though (one for the odd celebrity crush thread?)
7/10 overall. The balance was a little off for me, needed more comic relief rather than trying to be a full on tear jerker.

I watched season 3 on Saturday and even though it was good, I would agree it really wasn't as good as previous seasons.
There was some parts of his character I didn't really like.
I've but a spoiler in just in case people haven't seen it yet
When his BIL had the heart attack and in the hospital he's just being a to him for no reason. I get he was trying to be funny calling him puny etc but he's just had a heart attack and I don't think Tony character was portraying the way anyone would act in that situation.
The main bit I didn't like was when he was in that cafe and the bloke was keeping his kid entertained.. We've all been there I'm sure but I was on the other blokes side for when he said a baby crying is more annoying then me making these noises. Then Tony just started shouting really loud and I just think the point was lost. It was funny when he got 2 kid fishfingers and beans and ruined one as it was a silent protest to the worker being awkward. In this case he was just being a for s sake.
Overall it was OK i guess, I just don't get what else we learned about him or his grief process in season 3 compared to season 2. I don't think any characters evolved enough to warrant this season really.

I think it was to demonstrate to the BiL that he'd spent his life worrying, not being spontaneous (as per his wife) and being generally a bit meek Vs Tony's flagrant disregard for life and look what benefit it gave him, none
Hence him finally growing a pair and standing up to ratty and the nonce and his wife and kid being proud
The cafe scene was pribabt one of the most relatable for me, entitled parents who think the world must love their kid and the world revolves around them, take your Quinoa and fk off
