Derek's Loo'un accent, you mean?
To be fair, none of the accents are so broad that they’re difficult to understand.

Some American shows have subtitles for their own countrymen!

Wonder how it would go down in the USA if shown there?..
Series 1 is shown in various countries already and S2 will be available after UK run.
It’s not an obvious big international seller as it has a very British soul. The ten pound Pom Aussie generation get it for sure and it’s on foxtel over there, but I’m not sure about USA. I’m sure plenty of folks in USA would appreciate and enjoy it, but you need to get passed the gatekeepers first - TV execs. who have to buy into the concept of a classic car show that deliberately sets out to be the unstructured and authentic antidote to the extremely well made and very formatted shows we get from them. It’s everything they can’t cope with - random brits doing stuff that frequently defies understanding!
Considering the USA show the Gob Off Works Garbage show, I'm sure B&C would go down OK over there, especially as there a lot of car orientated ex-pats over there. I know of half a dozen ex-pats involved in the old car industry in California that are gagging to be able to see this after hearing about it from those of us in the UK.

Bodie did not drive the RS2000,Doyle had that honour.

Quite right too, didn't stop to think and could have fact checked with the man himself since Martin Shaw does the VO for Warbird Workshop after B&C - which is one of our shows as well! No perm these days. Their RS had a vinyl roof I remember - liked them then, just spent time & money removing one and an '70s glass sunroof! How we change....

Hope you enjoyed ep anyway. Bit of light relief.
Now you see, just like ' Bangers and Cash' the name ' Warbird Workshop' didn't grip me enough with its ads, to make me want to watch it. I found B&C by accident , and Binge Watched series 1 after seeing episode 7 first.. as I now series link B&C I don't watch live , but I did end up watching Warbird Workshop as it was after, and it was the one where they were rebuilding the plane to fly on the 70th anniversary of D Day .. so there was a bit of 'deadline drama' , but it was still nicely made, and to find out its one of yours also , is no surprise . I shall series link it .

The motorcycle world needs a similar program.

Henry Cole has a range of shows. The ones with Sam Lovegrove are fun. "Find it, Fix it, Drive it" is good, as is 'Shed & Buried" and "Junk and Disorderly".

That's an addiction
Guessing it must be a business of some sort even if on the side.
Buys one, spends some time tarting it up then sells it on.

I watch his stuff , but 'good' it isn't. Passable, and acceptable, yes .

I think it is limited by being a 30 minute show though.

The TV industry needs to wake up to what people actually watch ( see You tube) , in numbers , and not keep reproducing the same thing with different people.

B&C has nailed this IMO

The Henry Cole programmes are fine (especially the ones with Sam) but would be much better if he'd just act sensible and shut up MAN....

Just catching up with this, the trouble with the race Mini was that it wasn't in the right year shell, it was in a MK3 on version not the correct MK1, if it had been in a MK1 shell it would have been bid much higher.

Hope all the staff associated with this (TV and non TV) stay safe and come back to give us the same quality programmes in the future (also really liking Warbird Workshop)

That little clip where Sarah was on "job experience / 5 year probation" and "only works part time - ie Monday to Friday" was priceless.

PS she doesn't work Thursday afternoons !

I've managed to work my way through a number of these during the last week or so. As per others I'm loving the lack of BS and fake drama and the natural characters in the show. Great to see the knowledge and experience of the guys and the love they have for their jobs.

Evening all...so after the clap at 8pm which I think is a great idea, and my street gets fully engaged in - there is Banger & Cash, the penultimate episode of S2.

I really hope you enjoy an hour of car escapism and a bit of fun.

Thanks again for your support, I really do enjoy reading this thread as I think you are probably the folks who I think this programme is made for.

Apologies if that sounds patronising, but I have had a g&t - and that is it for this evening!
