Indeed, it was good to see it doing well - even if the seller was a sarky sod, I wouldn't have been quite so passive as Derek if he'd said that to me. I was pleased to hear Lagonda mentioned along with Bentley, Riley and Alvis etc.

Agree with all of the above. Have a real fancy for a pre war car like an A7 or 50's MG but the reality is probably not what I'd want to drive.

I can never quite figure out which of Derek's grandsons are Paul's and which are Dave's sons.

Charlie is Paul's son.
Jack is Dave's son.

Dave shares the rostrum, & Charlie seems pretty competent on the phone bids... but no doubt will rise to the challenge in the near future.
