The reg number on the Jag must be worth a few bob.

ETA: Apparently not!

Yes, funny how Castle Howard gets 2 shows on the bounce.

I can only say that rust fetches a lot more up there than it does here, re the Merc.

Why do people think it's a good idea to drive a car into a barn and leave it for decades?

I'm guessing he wasn't short of a bob or two, and the cars were just disposable white goods. Not all people are enthusiasts.

Quite likely the case. Also, perhaps some emotional attachment as they’d been his late father’s cars.

If i had a barn, it would be full, because my main reason for getting rid of stuff is space. Or lack of time .

And you have to fctor in what it was actually worth at thee poInt it was parked.

The chap who restored it is local to me. Specialises in Mercs, or did when I was last in, though it was quite a while ago. Nice bloke.

Boring post.

I was wondering about the weight of the truck with an MGF , XJS on it and a Mercedes 350SL on a trailer .

Do enjoy this , then I turn over to the dross of Wheeler Dealers .

Any idea what was going on with the registration number on the Spitfire?

It had a different number post restoration according to the "as found" image shown or did I miss something.

350 SL, near the top of the list of dream cars.

Red 350 SL, summers day with Sarah in the passenger seat, both with their top off.

Great programme but OMG the narrator is annoying, sounds like he is taking the mickey all the time.

I think Mr Foster adds to the charm, being a Northerner.

Preferred Mr Foster's Gene Hunt to B&C narrator.

BTW, if he's not doing Gene Hunt as a sideline he should be.

Anyhoo - any plans for a TVR to feature on B&C?

No shortage of TVRCC members in N. Yorks.

Unless Derek isn't a fan.

One of my favourites, not necessarily because of the cars - but for the love of the cars.
