That was crazy money .....it was sold with a Vitesse V5 by the sound of it yet was originally a Herald. Online buyer bought a lemon there methinks
Thing with the old Triumphs )Herald/1330/Vitesse etc were all similar chassis and the body parts were basically interchangable. The coupe roof from the early Heralds, Solid roof, soft top and I guess estate rear end. So it may have started out as a Vitesse......Skyedriver said:

A Vitesse chassis with any body is still a Vitesse.
The “Vitesse” estate was built and owned by a fellow member of our local TSSC many years ago and sold by him within the last 3 yrs. I remember he was asking £6.5 to £8k for it if my memory is correct. I thought it was a bit much based on what it actually was and general condition. That said as with everything they are only worth what someone will pay. He I believe is a retired engineer and originality always takes second place to improvements which he feels make the cars more useable. He also has a grey Mk 1 Vitesse soft top reg HAM”””E which features in Rimmers catalogue.
I am looking for an original Park Royal Vitesse and would prefer the look of a nice clean car with a solid colour and standard interior etc.
Good work Mumbles

Met Sarah today.
Is she as lovely in real life?Bought a car from them last year (they are great to do business with - so friendly and helpful) and was up on Saturday - noted that they were filming for another episode.
By the TV exposure has increased the attendance somewhat..
I declared this my favourite car programme the other day and I stand by it. Really pleased I discovered it a few weeks back and I managed to get bang up-to-date one rainy Saturday afternoon the other week.
Also a bonus that Mrs PB loves it. Perhaps the first car programme I've seen her watch avidly.
Great work Mumbles Boy!

Someone needs to tell them that it's pronounced Vanden Plass. not Vanden Plar. It's Dutch, not French.
Otherwise it's a quite an enjoyable programme.
And I keep seeing that tired Esprit S2 in the background of shots. Is it going to feature at all?
It's Flemish actually.....but I'm not,I'm English so guess what,we pronounce things differently.Otherwise it's a quite an enjoyable programme.
