Yes, six episodes of greatness and stellar performances from Bob Peck and Joe Don Baker, although Charles Kay's Pendleton steals every scene he's in. Jedburgh's appearance at the conference at Gleneagles is terrific, as is the whole Northmoor sequence...dammit, I'm going to have to watch it again...sas62 said:
Agreed - there have been better series but I've yet to see a better ending.
Spot on it was a good series not great, but there were literally no loose ends left at the end and great song to end it with too. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3difXqlpwVc
Well I watched the last episode of Big Bang Theory last night and i enjoyed it.
I know its easy to say that the series probably could have ended a couple of seasons ago but it was still better than many other shows, and even though the ending was so obviously going to be the way, it was very well done

Mentioned in the other thread.
Ashes to Ashes - stunning, sad, funny and very human
Blake's 7 both the actual ending and the two others. Blake's Seven was due to end at series 2. That whole series worked towards that point.
At some point between filming and broadcast it was decided to do another so it got a series 3.
Series 3 was where it was really supposed to end with the destruction of the Liberator and the B7 gang marooned on Terminal after finding out Blake was dead.
A famous phone call from Mr Cotton surprised just about everybody and series 4 was hatched.
I liked the ending of Ultraviolet. It's a great show and well worth a look
I liked the ending of The Mentalist I thought the show was stylish and well done
Blackadder for exactly the same reasons as Ashes to Ashes
