As a non dance person, to me Michelle just walked around waving her arms around. No actual dancing.
Well, that's kind of what Vogue is. smile

I've got a sneaky feeling that it's going to be Chris and Emma in the dance off...
Nah. It'll be Michelle. Worst of the night imo. Then anyone's guess. I said last night it would be Youtuber girl and I still think that. Don't think she is a popular as joe sugg tbh.

Michelle to go for me...total self indulgent tripe....

She has been good some weeks, but probably mostly due to clever choreography.

Did they not learn from Aston’s premature exit? The public want proper dances and with Michelle’s after finishing bottom of the leaderboard it was difficult to see what she could do to improve. Did like her though, she made it look pretty effortless.

I think you're being overly harsh and uncharitable.

Why’s that then? I liked her up until that non dance.....

I think she's in the aforementioned Aston situation and could very well go out this week if she finds herself in the dance off, unfortunately.
It brings me no joy to be proved right here. I really like and admire Michelle. frown

No, He really isn't.

It was a non dance and it's supposed to be a dace competition.

I suspect that the average, elder, voter watched that and thought "WTAF? confused"

If you want to win a dance competition, you ought to do a dance.

Quite agree, it's a dancing competition, not a forum for individuals to promote their own interests.

I thought both couples did a better job in the dance off and the judges made the right decision.

Who else noticed that they continue to not give reasons for their decisions even though they're asked to every week?

Bit of a shame that Michelle has gone as we like to see the proper amateurs really get going in the comp and she was just that. Big mistake doing that dance though-it was total clart.

I agree. I mean, even those of us old enough to remember Vogue didn't get the reference with the costumes until a helpful link from MrsMiggins.

Totally the wrong choice. I think it was something special to her though (and I can agree it was perhaps self-indulgent in that respect). It was a good re-creation of Madonna's 1990 MTV Awards set but... it was the wrong thing to do for Strictly.

So, I agree it was self-indulgent but disagree that it was tripe and that all her previous good dances have been down to good choreography and I maintain that saying so is overly harsh and a rather unfair to her.
