What’s the big deal about James Cracknell? Seems like quite a few on here are getting excited about him (or is just the same person posting numerous times), just wondered why?
Personally I’m looking forward to seeing Alex Scott, she’s very good as a pundit and ludicrously attractive too.

Not sure how he will do. The athletes often do quite well because they have the fitness and are used to being told what to do by coaches. Plus hes so focussed he'll put everything into it.
The muscle boys don't tend to do well as they are generally very inflexible & the musculature gets in the way of the movement. At least I've heard of him though which is more than can be said for the rest. Not sure how he will do. its a common theme - many hardly knew any of the celeb partners last year yet it was a really good series last time.
if you don;t watch soaps, listen to "popular" radio or spend half your life on social media then its unlikely you will know everyone.

Jamie Laing confirmed as out of the series due to a foot injury he sustained during filming of the launch show. Evidently specialists had hoped he might have recovered but have now confirmed this won't happen.
BBC still haven't confirmed whether to source a last minute replacement or go ahead with the series with the remaining contestants, although they've said Jamie will most likely take part next year now instead.
