personally something was lacking from Alex last night - she seemed like behind the smile she had had enough or she knew she wasnt every going to win it and was just "whatever" - although i did note a distinct lack of chemistry between them - rumours are they had "something" going, perhaps its now gone!! she didnt seem to want to look him in the face or talk at the end at all.
roll on "in takes two"
as for those that are left - its all about Emma and Anton for me - we dont even bother watching Karim anymore, we make a cuppa (ok ok a G&T) whenever he dances/interviews.
EDIT: not because i hate him - although there is a dislike there, it mainly because i find him pointless to the show, givne his training and existing talents.

I find it a bit odd when Shirley says "for a novice to get this far", they should all be novices.
Best solution for me would be to have 2 parallel competions, one for the so called novices and one for "celebs" who have had the Musical Theatre training or whatever it is that gives them a clear advantage.

I agree but there’s nothing saying they should all be novices. It’s just about celebrities doing a dance competition. How much training should be allowed? If you went to dance school on the weekend? If you just did some evening classes? What if you went to theatre school but then became an actor? If you were a celeb and you found you were on the show next year would you go and get some lessons?
Looking back in previous years, the last stages have usually been dominated by people with lots of experience.
I think I'm swaying towards wanting Emma and Anton to win. She seems sweet and has genuinely improved consistently all series and Anton probably deserves to win it more than any of the other pros (or the celebs!).
Karim doesn't do much for me as he's just been good all along. Do love Amy though and her lovely accent so would be happy for her to win.
Chris was lucky to get past about week 3, though I accept he has got better recently.
Oti and Kelvin aren't working as well for me as Oti and most other peoples she's danced with.
Alex's Samba was rubbish and forgettable compared to the other dances so not surprised she went. Did warm to her a lot though but not sold on her partnership with Neil. Just seemed a bit flat.

I think he would agree with you though, and said so* when Tess interviewed him after he was announced to be in the dance-off. I don't think the look of shock and surprise on his face when he was voted though was faked either.
(* - I mean, he said something similar. He didn't actually say "I agree with what Japveesix is going to post on PH on Monday")

He's the only one left that I don't think has the slightest chance of winning though. (Expect I'll be proved wrong in a few weeks!)
