All 3 deserved to be in the final so I'm not disappointed at all that Emma and Anton didn't win.

Well done Kelvin and Oti.

Right decision, Kelvin was just that slight notch above the others - but all 3 pairs were truly excellent.

And Karim & Amy and Emma & Anton gracious in defeat too - they looked genuinely happy for Kelvin and Oti.

This is what I love about Strictly - it's an oasis of feel-good decency with glitter, in a grim world of general awfulness. cloud9

Karim got the highest scores from the judges, and consistently scored better, he was definitely the best dancer but Kelvin had the best story and ‘journey’

I think either would have been a worthy winner for different reasons.

Personally would have preferred one of the other two to win but Kelvin was good and Oti is fking amazing.

Think Anton winning might have been the best overall story but as has been said before it's pretty great for him to make the final.

Love Amy too and would have liked to give her a big hug when she got all emotional.

Not my favourite series, didn't feel I warmed to many of them that much but it's still the nicest program on telly (however annoying various judges and presenters may be at times).

Very happy with the result. For a non-dancer Kelvin is great.

As good as it was to see Emma and Anton in the final, I can't help but think Michelle and Giovanni should have been there.

Enjoyable final with a well deserved winner. Thought all three of Kelvin’s dances better than any of the other two’s, thought Emma’s show dance too similar to her first dance and couldn’t warm to Karim’s show dance at all. Kelvin also came across as a decent humble bloke. Would have liked Emma to win, but you can’t take it away from Kelvin really.

The best guy won, but then I thought that was going to be the likely outcome based on weeks 1 & 2. I do feel that the program has become so formulaic that it is no longer very entertaining. I usually start recording and then start to watch 45mins into the program. We have not bothered watching the results program this year - the information is available anywhere that you care to look online. We did not bother to vote last night. Previously we have always voted during the final.

I much prefer to see people like Alex and Chris starting from nowhere and making good progress. Not stage school wannabes that are complete unknowns (to me).

With the loss of Bruce, Len and Darcy, I feel that the program is being driven down to a lower level, but with £10million regular viewers, I suppose that the BBC are very happy with that.

Completely agree Clockwork; and would add that the whole package - music, costumes, the professional dancers, everything really - is extremely well produced, very slick and lights up those dark nights during the back end of the year.

I even like the judges, and I have no criticism of Tess or Claudia; it's just perfect feel-good telly.
