Am not far off bailing it due to the daft storylines. Trying my patience purely due to the years put in watching Corrie! :-)

I actually don't mind the daft storylines, it gives us something to moan about hehe

Watching Corrie is like the Hotel California....You can enter but you can never leave.....

Probably old news but I only saw it today (accidentally) - Summer will be coming back as a completely new person, just like Todd.

It was in The Sun so it must be true.

Scott works for Ray, surely Ray would have recognised Scott’s voice! It was very distinctive in that scene.

Also, who TF has a two person poker game from the off, sure it’s 3 person at an absolute minimum

Sadly I'm part of the zeitgeist. Corrie has become shambolic, and accordingly, as another poster said, watching it is now simply habitual.

SO much nonsense, where to start?

Craig, again, is the only copper in miles, and happens to A) be right on the doorstep of the Bistro and B) chooses to ignore the order to wait for back up.

As mentioned elsewhere Scotts voice is pretty distinctive, a clowns mask wouldn't stop him being instantly rumbled.

Johnny's MS has remarkably and conveniently resurfaced. When was it last mentioned, must be a year or more?!

David agreeing to sell a house (remind me how he acquired it, my memories not that good) instead of simply sorting the sinkhole.

Two people having to sleep on Eileens living room floor, when on occasions it's had more rooms and guests than the local Travelodge!

And finally can they please put that bloody annoying Oliver story to bed. If I hear Leannes wailing or if Dr Schmitz is mentioned once more I'm going to loose my st!!!!

I’m with you on all this, Fermit. The multiple, convoluted and largely implausible storylines, together with the paucity of humour that Corrie used to do so well, means it’s likely to become a bit of an occasional watch for us.

Yep, I think the majority on here agree it's turned to crap.

The only decent characters remaining, IMO.

Mary.
Shona
Evelyn
Roy
David

And with the exception of fleeting showings of Norris, and the eye candy that really is it.

The current writers and those in charge of casting need sacking ASAP. As it stands it's quickly turning into an Eastenders clone.

I suppose it depends on the area. I lived and worked on the same 'patch' for years.

I read the other day that the actress who plays Summer is being replaced.
