I wish somebody would take Leanne's face mask and stick it down her throat. Any sympathy one may have for the Oliver story is lost when she opens her mouth and starts shrieking at everyone. Nick should disappear asap to his new family with Startrek boy and his mum.

Then Steve and Leanne can have another one night stand and another Oliver appears! I am amazed Dev's daughter has gone on the pill. She must be the first person in Corrie to discover contraception!

Reopens the same row between Steve and Tracy. Wonder if the fact that she’ll take absolutely no crap and will offer straight-talking advice will mean he genuinely does accept it a lot sooner than Leanne will with the pandering apologetic approach from Nick?

That would be handy as there in fact two Olivers as he is played by twins.

Asha gave a knowing look when Cory suggested that now she was on the pill they could have a bit of fun. I think she will realise that her dad was right all along. Brain in pants syndrome.

(I brought up my daughter as a single parent when she was 12 onwards and I can empathise with Dev. It's not easy and many sleepless nights waiting fior her to come home.)

It's a dance as old as time.

He clearly cares for Oliver so her reaction to his opinion on what they should do is expected but pretty horrible. I never really felt they worked as a couple anyway. A lot on the street seem to be thrown together from two people who happened to be single at the same time.

By reference to Billy’s woeful performance tonight, it’s totally apparent that when the cast were at RADA (sorry, I mean the Chorlton School of Performing Arts) that none of them attended the drama session on ‘how to convince your audience that you are actually drinking a cup of tea or coffee when holding an empty cup’.

Really gets on my nerves.

It’s the show of two halves. First episode was superb. This one less so.

The scene with the bishop (whom I nominate for the most woefully inept performance in the recent history of the Street ) was to curlingly awful , not even remotely funny and was written by somebody who has never met a senior church official . But Tracey was wonderful - I am used to hot Tracey, difficult and angry Tracey but compassionate Tracey ? That's new

Billy is an awful actor.

Daniel Brocklebank (born 21 December 1979) is an English actor. He is best known for playing Billy Mayhew in Coronation Street. He received a Screen Actors Guild Award for his performance in the multi-award-winning movie Shakespeare in Love.

His other work is on Emmerdale, Doctors and Waterloo Road.
