That was a fridge, mayo in large bottles. Its warmer in that fridge than it has been outside in the past 7 days.

Odd thing to consider. I would guess that the solicitor has a clean record too? I can imagine that Devs kids could get one now but might have struggled under Trump. Then again they might question the amount of time they spent in India and how they are 16 despite being born in 2006.

Kevin was hitting the door with the metal pole and the entire wall was swaying, meanwhile Abbie can't hear his thumping and shouting because Ray apparently specced 'Hatton Garden Vault' instead of 'commercial refrigerator'.

Smacks of Crossroads with the whole wall shaking every time someone closed a door!! I still can't work out whether it is a fridge or a freezer as the stock inside is a mix of food you can freeze and fresh fruit and veg. Very odd!

The blue lighting gives it away as a so called freezer
Not that commercial freezers have any blue light in them though, artistic effect lighting you'd call it :-)

CBA to research it now, but I'm pretty certain there are rules around commercial refrigerator/freezer construction that means they must be able to be opened from inside.

Ray broke the handle off
Shouldn't affect the ability to open from the inside, though. Similar to fire escape panic bars.

Didn’t he break off the inside one too?

I raised this on the previous page. I think that legally all walk-in chillers/freezers have to have an alarm built-in in case people are inadvertantly shut inside.

Yup, but that would leave access to the release. But being a mechanic, a mechanical release would obviously be overlookedsmile

How does this mechanism lock the door?

Looks to me like the bit Ray smashed off is the bit that holds it in place?

Also, it's a chiller, we know this because the blue sticker here

says "the food in this CHILLER must be kept between +2c and +5c"

There are cans of squirty cream in there too, they would explode if you froze them.
