Bloke who plays Paul needs to work on his fitness. Never heard someone get so out of breath from just talking.

Plus managed to book a flight from her hospital bed (lots of flights available in the current crisis) and has her Fit to Fly test done and results back, gets her foreign currency, packs for her super long trip, books accommodation and has any jabs required. All within 24 hours. I will miss Superwoman on the cobbles!
I want to know where she got her travel insurance.

Insurer: Have you got any ailments or pre existing conditions?
Gail: Yes, I had a heart attack.
Insurer: OK, and when was that?
Gail: Yesterday. (click, phone goes dead) Hello...hello....

Ha!!! "Do you have any other illnesses?" Well yes my entire family are a bunch of nutcases and a number of my exs have tried to kill me but other than that no.

Did I miss Steve McDonald’s fund raising that has reached £96k.? When did that happen? Generous people on the street, that’s about £10k each!
The Street’s magic money tree again?

I can imagine that social media coverage would increase donations substantially. Still a bit bonkers though, but not nearly so bonkers as the local bin men raising £7000 in cash for Matty's funeral. Surely the legions of sanitation staff would cover their own patches and most of them wouldn't know of Matty ? Made no sense. £700 possibly, but £7k ??

Neat twist though. Almost Fargo-esque.

I have a feeling that when he goes to check the amount, much of it will be missing. And Cathy's initial suspicions about Tracey's lavish spending sprees will prove to be accurate.

A bit strange for a Messerschmitt KR200 to be parked on the street.

Looking at the quality of his staircase, I wouldn’t fancy Ed the builder’s chances of installing a heat pump.

That Messerschmidt , as said above ... I mean , WTF was it doing there , whose was it and why didn't anybody say 'wow, what's that ? '. Evelyn might even have said ' Aye , it's amazing what you can get up to in one of those when you're young and flexible'.

What are the script writers smoking? The Todd stealing the heat pump story takes the biscuit as a children's farce.
So Todd wearing his invisibility baseball cap "borrows" the hearse with a dead body inside, loads up a massive heat pump and drives it off just round the corner from Eileen's house, Has a handy place to store it, with of course lifting gear to remove it from the hearse, then has managed to find somebody to buy it from him for cash. Todd is also a skilled embalmer who can work miracles on a body in half an hour!
Keep off the wacky backy and at least get some degree of reality into the stories.Just when you think they can't get any worse - they do. Eileen will win a trip on Richard Branson's rocket next!
