Amy's acting was spot on in last night's episode. I can see Faye dumping PC Ticker and disappear to Jacksonville with Miley.
from the press - Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach - who plays Faye Windass - will be bidding farewell to the ITV soap in a huge storyline this summer

As an aside, she is the IRL cousin of Brooke Vincent, who played Sophie Webster.

Is she related to David's daughter too because she looks the same?

Very creditable performance tonight from Peter Ash (Paul Foreman). Generally decent episode.

Corries naughty humour can be very subtle, but brilliant. Brian - I'm planning on going on a trip to Naples, to see my cousin Isabella'. Mary - 'Oh how lovely. I passed through there once, many moons ago, when I was young, carefree and full of spunk'

Brian - taken aback 'excuse me!' expression clap

Indeed, Corrie seems to be improving with the story lines the last few weeks.

I wish I had Damon's confidence...."You won't be doing much sleeping".....hehe

I won't miss his "angry seagull" eyes and limited acting scowl though once he's gone tbh.
One or two more of the bit part players could / should be moved on and the writers could concentrate on some stronger storylines like the recent ones we've had

Sarah is looking good in that leather skirt...

With her history of getting pregnant at the drop of a hat, we can assume that her liason with Damon will result in another baby story.

Has Roy never heard of dog re-homing centres? there must be plenty in Greater Manchester.

Meanwhile, we have yet another barrister in the Street, Until a few months ago, DeeDee was practising law in the USA and now she suddenly has a barrister's gown. She's just an assistant in a local solicitors office.

PS I jumped the gun re Freddy.

Three Corrie characters all arrive at Rufus' house on the same night. What's the chances of the murderer (if it happened) being suspected as Paul as he took the car.

Michael will be arrested , because he was there (and he's black ) but will quickly be released without charge. Paul will also be arrested and charged, Billy will disown him and he will go to trial and be found guilty. BUT , just as he is about to peg it , new evidence will come to light and Stephen becomes the prime suspect. How will the other murders come to light ? Will he kill again ? (I'm hoping it's Jack )

There again ...has Rufus killed Stephen?

Stay tuned ...

Can we take a moment to acknowledge that a man had to die just so Evelyn could get a new dog?

I’m on the fence with this one. In their sexytime scene the camera panned past a condom packet. But they have been going pretty hard on the baby storyline between Sarah and Adam so something will probably happen.
Thinking about it now I can’t remember if the condom packet was open or not? Obviously an unopened packet will mean super preggers.

I love that she gets high and mighty about Damon being a drug dealer. So was Callum, and didn't she kill him and bury him under Gale's bedroom?

Daft question, we all know the actual answer but why is pc big ears now a murder detective? Is he the only copper they have? Car crashes, bodies in pools, local trouble within 10yards of home, he's the man for EVERY situation, literally.
