Just love Gemma with her" 3 came out the sunroof" and "the chassis is fine" comments. She is a real gem (no pun intended).
I spat my tea out when she came out with that. I am surprised they got away with that.

Last night 1st episode

Roy- It's amazing what they can do with artificial meat these days

Carla - I know, I've been using it a while.

long the lines of the above can't remember exact words. Definitely the rudest innuendo I've heard on Corrie for a very long time.

I thought that was what I'd heard! Probably rabbit, if you know what I mean.

I hope the Geoff/.Yasmeen thing comes to a head this week. Fed up with it.

Me too. Some of theses stories are well past their sell-by date! Maybe she can poison him with a curry and feed him to her chickens!

Maybe I've forgotten a previous storyline, but why are there a pair of skis in the taxi office?

I think it has been done really well, but it is horrible to watch. I hope he gets his comeuppance. I think Eileen is on the case now.

Also, has she been away or something? She just reappeared in the last week or two.

Agree the acting is good and it is being done really well but getting tiresome now. Lock him in his own box and bury him on the red rec!!
Either that or he will suddenly change into the angel from the north in the way Corrie characters do.

I thought it was a bit unlikely the way Yasmeen suddenly confronted Geoff with accusations of bullying. She's had plenty of chances to say something before. Has it taken so long to see the light? I suppose we've to assume that his crying and repentance is all an act?

I wonder if Tim will be the one to react? Maybe after Eileen and Kathy have voiced their opinions.

This is a typical Corrie "spectacular". Silly plotline with contrived twists. Just the odd bit of Corrie humour but on the whole just plain cringeworthy dross.

Still got the quickest ambulances in the UK.

PS is this Bill Roache retiring?

The incontinent coach driver was Ken, the landlord on ‘Early Doors’ (John Henshaw). Great actor.

The storyline was dire tonight. When the writers get it right it’s great, but when they get it wrong....
