Does anyone know if Aircrash Investigation will be on this as it's on National Geographic on Sky?
Not sure if the list is comprehensive, it is on the BT version as well.

Found this the other day but not sure of the provenance, bit like the Netflix what's on?

About Us has it as a UK site.

I wasn’t sure who owned it (I know same as animator as simpsons). Quick check says fox. Amazon reason why no show on Disney?

Few more days but with the measures in place now I expect a bit of a crash. Anticipation is ramping up but Netflix is backing off its bit rates.

Apologies if this has been answered elsewere but when Disney+ starts up, will the Disney films on Sky disappear?

Just signed up as well biggrin
No idea, check the sky forums? Maybe new releases disney only?

Apple are still selling them but that is more an owned digital library. But Apple and anyone else are not getting 4k versions I think? Certainly all Apple disney and marvel etc. are HD, in the main.

I have Disney Life app on the Apple, not signed into that one and get no shows and that has a timer on it. I assume it will drop on the day and perhaps the Life apps will change??

The App is live now, it won't work on various older Apple devices (says it's won't be compatable when you try) it is working on the TV's though, surprised that The Rise of Skywalker isn't on there (more contract delays ?)
Re film, not released on blu yet? (for gods sake they had a dvd release).

There is a list for devices.
https://help.disneyplus.com/csp?id=csp_article_con...
I am using Apple 4K
Interestingly, my "uncalibrated might be correct app" is suggesting 4k with Disney is a big initial hit in the high 30's, probably a big buffering chunk then runs at 10mb/s but apple 4k whacks in at nigh on 60 for a big initial buffering chunk then trundles along at 30. Though I expect Disney streams to out number Apple users.

Do iPhones link to Chromecast? (Samsung Android phone here, the last iPhone I had was a 4, so I've lost track of what's available for them now)
Never had to try. I assumed it was TV's/devices that support airplay 2?

Sorry then, limit of my ability. Just checked my Blu ray player and that will not have it though it is quite new, the TV is a year too old.
Edit. Chromecast get the app?

Not sure this is any use to anyone?

Downloaded and set up. Sweet.

I did have a weird sad moment this morning when I realised the DVD/Blueray collection is effectively dead though.
I embraced digital a few years ago but I get a good speed.

I like 4k a lot but the disks are 20 notes on average (forget 2k vs 4k DI for now). When I bought a 4k panel I dropped all my DVD's down the charity shop, 200 or so (apart from a few titles that I expect would never be on another format or TV shows filmed in PAL etc).

I now buy hard copies selectively, 2001 was scanned in at 8k and dropped to 4k, it is stunning, meaning anything for me from a good 4K DI mostly, I now have around 20 titles, not a lot and happy with that. I buy iTunes films now accepting that they can disappear but using Cheap Charts you can get the films in a sale for a few quid that are 20 on the shelf (waiting game) and have 200+. But a few years ago clocked that no 4k Disney and could see where they were going and held off those titles in the main.

Give it a few years and hopefully digital will be everything but that talk ruffles feathers wink (needs a few bits of the jigsaw in place though, ISP, long term ownership of titles etc.).

Sky were supposed to be having a bundling deal with Disney?

Looks like some answers on the Sky Q forum. Don't have it myself.

Enjoying it so far... some decent films and plenty to keep the kids happy.

One question, is content shown in 4K?

ETA - I have a newish 55” LG OLED
There should be a descriptor, resolution, HDR if available, audio package etc. when you select a film before playing it. My LG is a year too old so using the Apple TV, it is on the Apple App, I assume it is the same across all the devices?

4k appears to be running around 10mb/s as they are throttling the rates at the moment. (checked with an app that may or may not be correct).
