My wife have recently started X-Files (new for me, not for her), halfway through Season 2 currently and really enjoying it. I have seen some of them before, but not many, when it came out I was more interested in clubbing and girls! Not completely bingeing it, as we have other things we're also watching too at the moment, but slowly getting through it.
We've also binged all of NCIS, Criminal Minds and The Americans (2nd run through of that one for us, it's brilliant).
I've been working though The X-Files - now onto S8, four seasons & one film to go.

Skipped a few, mostly occult/religious or where it feels really dated (there's a couple of ancient I.T/virtual reality based episodes); but overall it's superb TV.

Started the Americans and it hasn't gripped me the way I had assumed it might after all the positive comments. Great premise for a show just not sure so far. Only three episodes in, will persevere.

Only reason I have Disney+ is because it was a perk on my Lloyds Bank account. Previously I had taken 6 cinema tickets as my annual perk but this year there was the option of a year's Disney+ so I took that instead as I rarely go to the cinema

Stick with it - it's very good.

Dips a little in the middle, but recovers & gets better. Plus acres of yank barge chod to enjoy.

Only Murders in the Building

Saw this and thought I’d give it a go because it’s Steve Martin and Martin Short (who was excellent in The Morning Show) along with Selena Gomez.

It’s very good and an easy watch - we’ve done the first series in a couple of weeks and now into the second. It’s a lightweight, enjoyable slightly silly whodunnit with some great swearing.

I agree, a brilliant show. Season 3 soon with added Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep

I'd love to watch it all for the first time again, pretty impressive consistency for such a long running show.

After watching it all 'live' I went back and had a phase of just watching all the overarching conspiracy episodes, but I think I'd like to go back and just watch many of the great standalone episodes.

I agree on the IT ones but there are some great occult ones that really lean into horror, I remember being genuinely scared as a youngster at a few of those.

Darkness Falls (series 1 in the logging camp) was always my favourite.

I was talking to someone earlier and they said they'd been enjoying a series where there was always a plot twist and they'd been enjoying watching it, but I can't remember the show's name, any ideas what it might be?!

I don't have their number so can't text them.

A strong recommendation for MODERN FAMILY if you want and easy to watch comedy - although season 11 isn't on Disney.

Also Alaska Animal Rescue - not normally my sort of thing, but I'm really enjoying it

Hi all,

Would anyone mind checking on their sub if American Housewife is available on Disney+ UK please (from Season 1)?

It looks like it is, but I've had it before where something shows up (on Amazon), but when you come to purchase its not available in the UK. Daughter wants to watch this show so wanted to check its available before re-subscribing.

Thanks! smile

Superb!
Awesome!
Now available (I've not watched it yet).
The Bear season 2 has stepped up massively IMO. Really liked Season 1 but Season 2 is something else.

Probably the best series we have watched for a long time.
