Predator on disc is where it's at
In the woods of a certain cyborg
Perfection
I downloaded a few episodes of NYPD Blue with the Disney+ app on my phone with the intention of watching them on an international flight. Fire up the app on the plane and "can't reach network" and that was that. Yay, thanks for that....
At least the Netflix app worked and I watched the first episode of that series about Purdue Pharma I'd downloaded.....

Had this problem recently. Discovered that if you start the show/movie whilst online then stop, it will work later offline. At least the Netflix app worked and I watched the first episode of that series about Purdue Pharma I'd downloaded.....

Was expecting to enjoy Prey far more than I actually did, but this is still great news. If something is only available on streaming it can be censored or removed at a moment's notice.
Indeed Willow, National Treasure and many others are proof. No matter how bad/good progs are - physical means you're not ather mercy of chaging tastes/mores/etcgregd said:
Rattled through both seasons of The Bear in the last week. What a brilliant show.. acting, direction, soundtrack all pitch perfect. Probably the best series I've watched in the last 12 months. Hope the writer's strike can get resolved soon so they can crack on with a season 3.
Also just finished. Final episode left me a bit flat but I guess that was the point.Forks and the one which was basically just Sydney wandering around doing food porn were great, love the development of all the characters.
Seven Fishes was a hard watch, Jamie Lee Curtis looking so rough I didn't recognise her. On which point good cameos from others as well.

Yeah I've had that put didn't realise that was the fix, thanks!Anyhoo, I sent feedback to them via the app about it so hopefully it's a bug (and not a feature) and they fix it.

Really enjoyed all 3 seasons of the Orville. Starts off as a fairly lame but enjoyable family guy style star trek spoof. The balance gradually shifts from student comedy to sci fi, and ends up as a passable next generation clone, updated with modern themes and humour.
It's a solid 7/10

I thought the Orville was fantastic, it certainly improved with each season and didn't hurt they got a budget bump for S3. Seth MacFarlane is a massive Trek fan and has been quite open about that being his inspiration for the show and you can see it in spades across some of the episodes. Very TNG in places without being a rip off. It's a solid 7/10
I really hope it gets picked up again as it deserves to run for longer.
