I watched it on the strength of recommendations on the other thread. I thought it was very well done, and the main actress was brilliant given that she had zero dialogue to work with! I must admit though, I'm not entirely sure I understood what the ending was all about!
That actress is superb, we watched a serial rapist type thing with her in and it’s one of the best acted series we’ve watched-can’t for the life of me remember what it was called but I’m sure it was on Disney?
Unbelievable, it's on Netflix.
Her name is Kaitlyn Dever, she was also brilliant on the Disney+ show Dopesick. It's 8 episodes about the rise of prescription opiod addiction in the US a few years back told from the perspective of a GP (Michael Keaton), an addict (Kaitlyn Dever), the executives from the pharma company, sales team of the pharma company (Will Poulter) and the small team of legislators trying to stop it.
Very well worth checking out

It's on the list! Lots of recommendations for that very show but seeing as she's in it we'll move it up the pile to watch.

Finally started Ashoka and the cat likes it more than us she is very interested in the loth cat smile;

For the rest of it I'm only 3 in but it just seems like a lot of nothing and when the ship gets disabled without shields Sabine fixes it in 5 minutes whiles it's getting hit by the fighters yes no more damage is done

Bit annoyed with the app downloaded The Mandalorian s3 to watch on the plane…. Arrive at 35k feet… Sorry you can’t watch you are not connected to WiFi …

Yeah that’s why I downloaded it ! Luckily had no problems with the new season of The Foundation I had also downloaded from Apple.

I think if you start it on the ground you can carry on in the air so just watch a second before you fly

The Shepherd

based on Frederick Forsyth's short story

I'm pleased they only kept it to 39mins.

Thanks for the tip, really enjoyed it.
I remember reading the book years ago. I also agree I'm glad they kept a short story a short film

Weirdly into Station 19. No, not even because of my wife, I chose it.
No idea if anybody else watches it, but Pruit Herrera - absolute Boss.

Disney must be the most frustrating platform to find anything on, the lack of trailers is a massive miss.

I'm not surprised it's often given away. If you're not heavily into super heroes or star wars it's pretty light on content.

I've started a 12 month free trial and I've only got a handful of things on my watch list.

I'm pleased to see American Horror Story on there. I really like that. I got up to series 9 before it was taken off more main stream services and left to languish here.

Anyone else a fan of AHS?

Just finished S10. I didn't realise it was effectively two seasons and thought wtf is happening here, how's this going to tie up?! biggrin

I didn't think much of the second part really, but at least they didn't try to make ten episodes of the first half when they clearly couldn't!

A lot of their content DOES have trailers.

As with the other streaming services, a lot doesn’t as well biggrin

Where did you get 12 month free trial, I’ve never seen that.
