A reminder. New series (4th) started tonight. Enjoying it so far.
Fantastic.Imho of course it is the best comedy out there by some margin.
The episode where Vinny cant sleep is still very very funny
Just starting from season 1 again before starting 4

“34% was always enough”
Thanks, I’ve lost track of the context, what did she mean exactly Edited by LeadFarmer on Friday 12th August 11:34
I thought it was a paternity test result percentage maybe but the internet seems to think it’s to do with Vinnie being bipolar so only ‘himself’ 34% of the time.

why?
My wife thinks I'm being an arse (and I am, probably), but 'brassic' should, IMO, actually be 'boracic'.Although yes I did go to check.

My wife thinks I'm being an arse (and I am, probably), but 'brassic' should, IMO, actually be 'boracic'.Language evolves, and there aren't any set rules for rhyming slang, it gets adapted, was originally "cockney" but its pretty much all across the UK.
Remember trying to explain it to a visitor at work when an east mancunian colleague referred to someone's "Manky Newtons"
Manky, northern, maybe Manchester word for rotten/disgusting.
"Newtons" = Teeth, as in the district of east Manchester "Newton Heath", which is where I was born, in London its Hamsteads, as in Heath.
Its all a mixture, English, Polari, Rhyming Slang and mancunian, they do it with style, Vinnie calling someone a "Wittering tt" I think it was, marvellous.
Got four left to watch, good, brain out stuff, basically like a rude Last of the summer wine really.
