Still a brilliant creation by Danny and Joe. Not sure series 4 had all the same magic but special mention to Ep.7 for the change of tone.
Just not buying into MacDonagh as the menacing gangster. Weird, creepy maybe. But scary and to be feared, nah!
The face the actor pulls when playing MacDonagh makes me laugh every time.Just not buying into MacDonagh as the menacing gangster. Weird, creepy maybe. But scary and to be feared, nah!
Finished S4 last night. I was planning a trip to Manchester today with some pals for a pint at the Star & Garter (where they film the pub scenes where Dylan works).
I wasn't sure they could pull off a 4th series, but they have. I love that the farmer is included mre as he makes me laugh my head off.
Having grown up in Lancashire (in a village north of Rochdale) there are, or certainly were, characters of this type.
Here's looking forward to S5!
