why?
My wife thinks I'm being an arse (and I am, probably), but 'brassic' should, IMO, actually be 'boracic'.I didn’t see the show, but my wife watched five minutes, thinking it would be an Only Fools and Horses type thing.
She said, “It’s bad enough all that Northern tosh, Peaky Blinders, and Coronation Street, but when they nick our slang, then murder it in those accents, it’s too much.”
I thought brassic was a northern term, but after a quick check, it is, but for a different meaning.

Saw Ep 3 this evening and tbh, I don't think I even smiled once, all a bit contrived, predictable and not at all what I would consider "funny".
Maybe the first two were better, but I cant see me sticking with it!
You know I haven't even bothered watching Brassic because of exactly this so I didn't want to waste any of my time, and I'm pleased I did now. Maybe the first two were better, but I cant see me sticking with it!
I had a strong feeling that it would be contrived and 'try-hardy' too, which is a shame but it seems that that's the way comedy is these days. There are very few (if any) actually funny comedies being made these days.
Safe sells.
