I had to at least watch the beginning of You're fired as I fell asleep during the hour final bit.

I had a hunch Carina would win.

I wait with baited breath for the local Lepore's to open near me.

I thought Carina did pretty well and is a worthy winner, Scarlett's fisticuffs towards the end were a bit unnecessary and may have tipped the scales.

Took me 90 seconds to switch off Tom Allen's fking awful show. Really hope they bin him off, I can't find a single positive review about him presenting You're Fired.

If Lottie is so clever, why isn't she at uni?
At 19 she had already managed 15 years in the music industry.

The other 4 years must have been Uni.

If you check out Carinas artisan bake house it’s more like a arches cafe that bakes a bit than artisan.
Carinas pre fame alter ego looks interesting as well, she’s achieved a huge image refresh.
Shugs will have a his work cut out here.

You mean the German whips and Gucci shopping trips? Wonder how she was funding all that as her business has only been around since 2018

Her company accounts don't look all that good and her dad resigned as Director in June, wonder how much of the family connection will remain?

What did Carina do before the bakery?
She’s deleted her Instagram but there are photos on google of her in Gucci and named brands. Brand new car. Holidays.
Seems like she has the material stuff but a bakery cant make THAT much money to pay staff wages and mortgage/ named brands/ brand new car.
Opened Feb 2018 and within a month had the likes of Anthony Joshua and Wilfred Zaha visiting. So she knows people, the bakery had a good reputation within a month or the location is good.

According to the Final Five programme before the interviews, she was with M&S for ten years, rising from shop floor to a quite senior management position. She then joined the family baking business after her dad's bakery suffered a major fire, and she invested a lot of her own savings into rebuilding the business.

I thought that both proposals seemed weak.

I suppose that if Sugar is using in-house expertise to select properties, interview shop managers, POS accounting, shop layout etc, then he can charge their time against the £250k invested.

I can’t really see it getting any bigger than perhaps 10 outlets around London. Without bigger baking infrastructure, I cant see her getting beyond the two that she was actually talking about.

You'd think she'd have put that on her LinkedIn profile, that she was at M&S for ten years?

Her 10 years being trained by M&S obviously didn't include giving many presentations!

They bake nothing I can see that I can't buy from my local bakery, or the next local, or the next local. Except perhaps the energy balls, but then I have never gone into a bakery and asked for balls.
