They’re not as vacuous as they’re portrayed (let’s be honest, that would probably Be scientifically impossible!). It’s mostly to do with the editing, the artificial silences, the glances of shock/horror/disbelief). In short, they’re made to look more stupid than they really are.

However, anybody with two brain cells would have known that before applying to go on the programme, so why would you apply to go on a programme that makes you look stupid, unless you were a bit stupid......?

Ive confused myself now......
I used to think the same but I know one of the contestants and when she is project manager, I can imagine her being exactly how she is in life. Arrogant, pompous and utterly incompetent.

''“Lubna I f****** swear if you disrespect me again I will f*** you up, you embarrassing failure of a businesswoman.”

In another message, Lottie said: “Apologise on the group chat publicly, or I will f*** you up.”'

What a pleasant lady.

Project Managing is a difficult thing to get right, and good ones (who are effectively a 'facilitator' during project meetings) are worth their weight in gold. Sadly most ones I've encountered have an inflated opinion of themselves and are on a serious power trip.

Multi-millionaire "lifestyle" of the Librarian - https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/inside...

"Lottie, a librarian, owns a countryside elite ladies' members club" that, the holidays and the "lifestyle" if I was her boss I'd be checking how many books are left in the library because I think she's selling them. Or she's telling little porkie pies.

From what I've read the dad also knows Sugar in some fashion as well. In any case on there for the fame not £250K.

People like her will probably apply for loads of programmes; she probably has an agent. It all makes good TV, but threatening behaviour really isn't something that should be allowed, to anyone.

Does anybody watch it for anything but car crash TV?

Nah, Sugar has already decided which company he'll be investing in so the show is a little contrived as the 'selection process' is not a selection process at all.

It's still amazing to see that there are self opinionated, vaccuous and entirely useless people who think that they should be taken seriously in business.

Isn't regional television wonderful? The BBC Northern Ireland continuity announcer introducing The Apprentice - "Viewers should be aware that this episode, as usual contains scenes of very strong slabberin' and gurnin'!"
