I think I need to rewatch the last episode...I've got too many loose ends but then I was working while watching.
If anyone can answer...why did the older girl target Cassie? And how did she know who Adam was. Or should I just watch it again because that's what the entire episode was about

I think Rosalind knew who Adam was because he alluded to his past when he met her in the pub when she came on to him, she then did some digging apparently although how she managed to find out when nobody else did is a slight stretch to say the least!
Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it though, very tense from start to finish but with a lot of wtf is going on.

Reference was made to Adam/Rob being transferred to the boonies, he could be woven back in to a new story.
Apparently 2nd series not confirmed yet but if there is it would feature Frank, the undercover bloke, but not Rob and Cassie as they aren't in the next 2 books that it would be based on.
Clearly Frank had some interest in or knowledge of what happened in the woods, otherwise why would he have been there at the end.

I really enjoyed it and the twist was relatively satisfying and plausible. There was something not right with her from the beginning.
In our household my wife can't stand having things not tied up whereas I quite like the fact the "woods" storyline was left hanging - life isn't perfect and sometimes these things go un-explained. We are left with the harsh reality that Reilly would potentially live out his days unable to recall his missing memories and ultimately never find out what happened to his "friends".
Agree there has to be some significance with Frank at the end and a lead in to a 2nd series.

I read it as Rosalind Devlin was almost possessed by whatever was in the forest (being a burial ground etc).If anyone can answer...why did the older girl target Cassie? And how did she know who Adam was. Or should I just watch it again because that's what the entire episode was about
Rosalind's mother said to her husband they unleashed a dark thing (last episode) I recall making reference to them conceiving Rosalind on the sacrificial stone when they were younger, thus making the child (Ros) an evil bh with no remorse.
Being from the forest Rosalind knew Rob was really Adam and why he was spared (he was not a chosen one but rather insignificant) which is much of what he said to her in the cafe).

Finished it and enjoyed it, unless I missed it we didn't find out who Lexi was either did we?
No, we only found out that the rest of the students didn't know either. One of them met her on the bus, mistook her for Cassie in her undercover role, "Lexi" caught on quick and pretended to be her for some reason.droopsnoot said:

Yes, the Lexi story was I suspect a bit of an intended distraction in the storyline and I liked the way they handled it. Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
