Yes, this for me I think.

In no way was Brad Pitt turning up on Friends a "surprising" TV Cameo, given that at the time he was in a long term relationship with Jennifer Aniston.

Michael Jackson on "The Simpsons" maybe, he didn't get "the credit" under his own name though, which left a lot of people wondering.

Also, George Clooney played "Sparky the Dog" in South Park - making nothing but dog noises.

I know....

Also Stephen Hawking did loads of cameos, so hardly a surprise (unless it was his first of course)

Michael Schumacher as The Stig?

Jodie Foster was the voice of a tattoo telling a guy to murder people in The X Files.

Another X-Files one, Jesse Ventura and Alex Trebek as the men in black in the beautifully daft Jose Chung's From Outer Space.

Also, not a cameo, as it was before they were "known", but both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul turn up in separate episodes. As does "Agent Hank" Dean Norris, actually.

Keiichi Tsuchiya has a cameo in Initial D as an old mate of Bunta's.

Hans Rey in Pacific Blue was a fun one.

Couple more from Top Gear:

Clarkson is abusing a Reliant Robin and has to be rescued variously by Phil Oakey, Dickie Bird and Peter Stringfellow.

The episode with the Peel microcar where he drives past a John Humphries newscast, gets into a lift with an unimpressed Fiona Bruce and gets ambushed by Dermot Murnaghan.

Have we had John Prescott as one of Ness's conquests in Gavin and Stacey? He was among the guests at Ness's wedding.

He doesnt look like Eddie Murphy
Mainly this ^^^
As soon as saw the pic I thought it was Eddie Murphy on the left, and possibly Charlie Murphy on the right.

Who's the cameo then?

That's Floyd, Lloyd and Troy Weaver, triplets playing clones.
Easy to find out if you look at the cast list for that episode.

Yes. I remember watching it thinking oh is Judy Dench or someone going to be playing the Queen, and then she turned round and everyone was like "oh fk that's actually the Queen". Was not expecting it at all.

It's not a cameo, but the Dead Pool being mentioned reminded me that Jim Carrey is in it for a tiny scene as an armless Elvis impersonator.
This isn't correct. Jim Carrey played 'Johnny (something)' and was making a music video singing to the G&R track 'Welcome To The Jungle'. It was being filmed by Liam Neeson in a meat locker so that the effect of the cold could be seen in the breath. Half way through the song Carrey goes out of sync with the track and Neeson cuts the 'take'.
Then he dies in his motorhome on site.
Watched it last week, as well as many times over the years.
