I watched it in one sitting and thought it was just ok. Not one of the all time great gangster films that's for sure but it told a story and did it relatively well.

For anyone interested, the book it's based on is "I Heard You Paint Houses" which I started but couldn't finish. The amount of name dropping and just general BS in the book really put me off. It just didn't flow and made what could have been a very good story completely uninteresting.
