As a new subscriber to Netflix, I watched Atomic Blonde last night, mainly because I find Charlize Theron very easy on the eye.

The film is effectively one long fight-fest front point blank gun shots to the head, strangulation, keys through cheek, plus a phalanx of kicking the st out of each other, or death by broken bits of furniture - even a little girl on girl. James McAvoy and Toby Jones co-star and are also good in it. Even has a good twist to the ending.

All-in-all, a pretty good watch.

Can't be beaten for realism and athletic skill, and the donkey was well behaved.

Been mentioned twice already so that must mean it's the best!

Good article on the whole movie here, and a bit on the fight.

Fortunately fight choreography has come a long way since Benny Urquidez had to telegraph his moves so blatantly. hehe

Yes definitely. Awesome scene.

Same series there was that fight with the British guy, the MMA fighter and the albino yikes

Actually I think there was several cool fights in every episode.
Banshee was brutal. In the coolest way :swoon:

The albino/prison fight scene particularly well executed.

The guy who played Lucas Hood in Banshee is the superhero baddie Homelander in The Boys.

Mentioned above, but I’m a fan of the fight scenes in The Punisher. Over the top, but entertaining.

I'm nearing the end of series 2 of 'Minder' and pretty much all of the punch ups so far have been really well done, one or two are done for comic effect but the rest are surprisingly gritty and realistic. It helps that some of the villains / stuntmen are all Euston Films regulars like Terry Plumber and Pete Brayham, big, well built blokes who look the part on screen and know how to make a stage fight look convincing.

Some brutal stuff in Van Damme's In Hell.

Too many to remember in Oz, but the one that stayed with me was when Beecher, a weak and abused character, loses it completely and kills/hospitalises someone.

Gritty barbaric realism in that scene in Django Unchained.
Horrible that, but extremely well filmed
