It's certainly creepy.
It's got me hooked with it realism, and now it's swerved me....I hope they play it deftly to keep the suspension.

I got bored with it. Shame as it started well.

Quite enjoyed the latest ep, it was different. Baddie sort of admitting what he was about, the cops being actually super intuitive and get on it immediately. ANd the wife saying the cop needs to either help or get out of the way. I found those elements really novel.

I suppose the thing is changing....but the new target, is he being affected telepathically?

Still keeping with it, but the last episode was a completely unnecessary use of an hour. frown

I have to say I am enjoying this show.

The pace seems right to me, simmering away nicely.

Still really into this. It will be interesting to see how they finish it. Hopefully not a big show down finale but something with a bit more thought.

Yep, got back into it again last night.

Bit gutted when the hour was up.

very good ep, and they did it again, just ignored how these stories normally go, completely rewrote it. Bit mercenary to just wait for a child murder, but what can ya do!?

Enjoying it and don't have a problem with the pace.

I find the sound quality bad which does not help with trying to listen to Detective Mumbles smash

Hoping that the "demon" or whatever it is will turn out to be a bit more than a fecking mutant werewolf, as that what it bloody sounded like chomping away on its latest victim rolleyes

Loving the pace and tension (with bits of dark humour).

So far, so enjoyable.

I have the opposite problem, it is so bass heavy anything not tied down in the room tries to leave

Been enjoying this too - I hope the 'thing' doesn't end up too silly and undo the good work done to date.

I've not read the book, so am not 100% sure on the ending etc.

Still enjoying this. Nice level of pacing and creepiness for me.

Max Beesley popping up now! Along with Paddy Considine there must be some actors local to the location thinking along the lines of "WTF! Couple of English actors rocking up, stealing our roles!"

Yeah, that was a WTF moment for me too with them both sitting there having a beer, speaking American like that. hehe

Same.

Then I realised Holly is English too.

Wow! Remember thinking - Ah that lass from El Royale. Didn't think any further than that.

3 English and an Aussie so far (Ben is perfect as that character). Any more?

I'd agree with many of the comments above. Still enjoying it, they've managed to keep the balance just right between realism, tension, and the supernatural element. And as mentioned by many, the cast and crew have done a thoroughly excellent job thus far.
