THe last five minutes were really tense. The shot was shocking. Felt sorry for the 'copper in the mouth' guy.

Whole episode building the showdown then, Bang, bang, bang........ fade to black!

Felt like a slow drip build to a busy finale.

My first thought from that ending was Holly last person standing (for the entity to deal with). But can't second guess where it's going.

Hoping for a good ending, twist in the tale... who knows... want to read the book now grrrrr

Bateman only got two episodes.. maybe he had to do new series of Ozark...

I enjoyed it but felt it moved a little too slowly, don't want to spoil the final episode but I think it was cleverly crafted, though invites too many inane, plot related questions from Mrs Blue to be enjoyed in her company. That said, I think the ending is open to interpretation, so interested to hear others views, spoilers allowing.

I was expecting a twist right at the end but I didn't materialise.

My interpretation is the thing is as "dead" as it can be...... until somebody ventures into the cave.

I'm satisfied that the story is concluded as is, no need to string out a further season unless King himself has actually carried El Coco and/or other characters onto another story.

Thought the first twenty minutes was pretty intense, but it seemed to slide into an ending that made it a little too easy to just finish, if you know what I mean.

Overall though, it was good.

Same here. I've loved every episode and thought the pacing was spot on.

It kind of fizzled out at the end though...

Very sneaky and easy to miss...... sort of gives you something to interpret for Holly

If the outsider is actually dead, then i can't see how Holly's scratch means anything (how did she even get it in the first place)? The grandfather of the kid also got a scratch.
The outsider changes into the person's form, the person doesn't change into the outsider.
