Silent Witness - most "woke" TV episode ever?
Discussion
We have watched this current series in the naive expectation it will regain something of its former glory.
As a result each time we are thinking what an utter load of poorly written and acted crap. Why did we bother.
As for the last scene in the pub........do me a favour. They should be ashamed of putting it on but instead will be happily ticking all their BBC June Sarpong boxes.

Yeah, it started off ok, but then kept adding unbelievable plot twist over unbelievable plot twist. I gave up watching after 40 mins as it was getting silly. Back in the old days they used to establish a cause of death, now they’re working to unfold deep state conspiracy and global organised crime.
I went back to the very beginning after the last series. I had only started watching a couple of years ago but have found the early years very much enjoyable. I'm not quite up the series where it feels like the show had lost its way but Harry Cunningham has left whilst Leo Dalton (barely) remains, I can definitely sense the start of more elaborate story lines and a change in production methods though. I think I've a few series to get up to where I originally started watching the show. Think I'll hold off before catching up on the current series.
Angry professor seemed to be having a go at Jack for spending too much time doing non-forensic stuff like visiting crime scenes and interviewing suspects and missing out on other details. And did that copper get her undercover officer's name wrong at one point? She introduced him as "Christopher", but when they found the car it sounded as if she asked the team to find out if "Christian" had ever been in the car.

Who cares and... Is Jack supposed to have some kind of special need? He's the least empathetic character I've ever seen in a TV series.I watched the last series because Amanda Burton was in it again and tolerated it, but last night reminded me why I gave up on the series years ago.

It does get more elaborate as time goes on though, watchable but daft.
