That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Silly plot, unbelievable CGI, wanton destruction, Helen Mirren hamming it up.

When do tickets go on sale?

Helen Mirren saying "E-brake" killed it for me redcardgetmecoat

They all look so old now! Just reminds me of how old I'm getting, still got fond memories of going to see the first one at the cinema TWENTY YEARS AGO!!!!

Me too and I loved the first one at the cinema. thumbup

Where have those 20 years gone eh?!

The Fast and Furious franchise has been taken in a completely different direction now for sure. I preferred the simplicity of the first one and it seemed to be all about the cars back then. I reckon that I'm a bit too old for all the sillyness now in this one being fair.

Ugghhh, don't. It's the same as Daniel Craig as Bond commenting on Vesper Lynd's "cellphone" to M. hurl

Whenever someone is flung into the air in front of me I always try and catch them on the car bonnet. So far I've run over 3 people, 2 came through the windscreen, 1 did actually land on the bonnet but broke their back anyway.

Watched it today.

It's rubbish.

No, its dull and boring rubbish.

It almost felt like some practical joke being played on the audience.

Do I hear correctly that they drive into space in this one?

Yes, but actually that was one of the less ludicrous scenes and made some sort of sense it what little plot there was.

Genuinely dire film. I quite enjoy the F&F series normally as harmless fun. 8 lost its way but this was total madness.

Felt like a parody of itself.

Weak points include a Project 8 that sounds like an S2000

If people keep going see them, they’ll keep making them.

I felt that too. They were definitely parodying themselves in places, lots of nods to how ridiculous it’s all getting, culminating in the space bit.

Don’t get the Project 8 noise either, why not just use the right sound? It’s baffling.

And (I won’t spoil anything) but Dom’s last interaction with the female protagonist from a previous film actually resulted in one person in the cinema spontaneously shouting ‘OH COME ON’ hehe

Makes the others look like serious drama productions. Can’t say I wasn’t entertained though.

Waited ages for this, really looking forward to it... Then I watched it while laid up with covid. The covid was more enjoyable. Honestly... it's going along OK and then you just think wtf? Really? Very disappointed to be honest. I did like Cena though.
