Fast and Furious 9
Discussion
I saw this on Friday night and there were about 20 people in the cinema. To be honest it was absolute bliss as we had the entire row to ourselves and I did not hear one person talking the whole film. Either everybody knows this film is rubbish or people are not going back to the cinema.
Either way I totally agree with all the comments so far, it has become a parody of itself. I was left wondering how we went from the Point Break with cars story of the first film to this.
Four out of ten, would not recommend.

Took my son to watch this.
Bat.st.Crazy
Weirdly, some nice dialogue in places, but totally out of place and forgotten about in the next breath when a plane catches a car mid air with a magnet or, as mentioned, you see a fking car in space and still hitting the nitrous button
Absolutely mental.
Paid IMAX for that st too (which probably made it bearable for the sounds and explosions reverberating in my ears for almost the entire run time of the film)

Just came back from the cinema after taking my 9 and 7 year olds to watch it.
Its so far removed from the earlier ones and I get the feeling that to try and justify itself the crashes and stunts just have to be bigger and more unbelievable.
Its mot the sum of its parts.
The earlier ones appealed more due to the slightly more realistic street racing. This is more like a Batman movie.

We went to see it yesterday evening to escape the football, and I was somewhat disappointed to find that we didn't have the whole place to ourselves! Personally, I thought it was rather fun. Yes, it has clearly jumped the shark, but it has jumped it soooo far, whilst at the same time taking the piss out of itself, that what wasn't to like??

Went to see at our local Vue cinema for £5 each and agree with the above, it was fun to watch if you don't take it seriously.Personally, I thought it was rather fun. I thought it was great entertainment. Completely over the top, no plot, crap acting, daft fights and ridiculous car chases in random countries around the world. Proper brain out bonkersness. What's not to like - you know it's not Shawshank Redemption, it's fights and car chases. Can't wait to see what they do with 10!

At least everyone had heard of a Noble now
The Noble M600 in the film is owned by my mum in law's next door neighbour, who also happens to be a stunt driver. It's actually orange but was wrapped purple for the film. Still waiting for my ride in it- my lad has had a go. Not that that I'm jealous or anything
I've just seen this on Sky too, expected to hate it but weirdly embraced the ridiculousness of it all and quite enjoyed it (zoned out at times though)
Does Dom have access to a modified Dodge Charger rental firm everywhere he goes? Liked the wide body mid engine jobbie he was tooling around in.
